I think that's very normal for this age. Have you googled any sleep articles or books? I thought I read that Babies consolidate sleep when their brains are capable of it - that happens at different times for different babies. Just like kids drop to two naps and then one nap at different ages- there's a0 wide range of normal.

DS only takes 30 minute naps, too. He'll occasionally take a longer nap, but it's very rare. It's like there's an internal alarm clock that goes off after 30 minutes, each nap. I think it's odd, too!
Anyone have any spectacular teething toy rec's? Like ones that are easy for them to hold and keep in their mouths?
I bought this banana teether via Amazon due to reviews and DS absolutely loves it. He can hold onto it very easily with both or one hand, and chomps on it for a long time.
Ok, does housing a family size bag of peanut butter m&ms while holding a baby count as exposure to peanut butter? Asking for a friend...😏
LOL. We were at Five Guys yesterday with my folks and I jokingly asked if our meal counted as nut exposure since they have the peanuts for you to snack on and all the peanut oil for the fries. Of course, my dad took me seriously and started recounting all the research articles about allergy exposure timelines... -_-
I'm confused about nursing and peanut allergies- doesn't nursing expose the baby to the things the mom eats? Since babies can have a dairy allergy to the Mom eating dairy?

I've wondered this too.
I think I read something once about the more pb mom's ate while pregnant the less chance of allergy, but I don't remember much.
Also with DD1 I couldn't eat dairy when she was lactose intolerant, we could tell it bothered her. But once she tested positive for a sesame allergy I asked if I should stop eating it while nursing. The allergist said if we didn't notice a reaction to keep eating it, that through breast milk it might change just enough to not bother her but to start making her more tolerant of it. (She was only mildly allergic.) She did eventually outgrow it, don't know if that played a part.

I wonder this too... it would make the most sense.

Just saying hello as I've been MIA today and yesterday...this sickness has been killing me. I called out of work and slept all day trying to feel better. After 4 days on abx and a steroid shot, I finally am starting to feel human again.
Also wanted to say thank you for the gift ideas for my dad. I ended up talking to my mom and she told me he would love the Yeti lowball glasses since he likes to have a drink on the porch but gets annoyed when the ice melts. So I ended up getting him 2 glasses and a bottle of Jack Daniels which is his favorite.

DD has a peanut allergy and we went to Five Guys for the first time last Sunday. We got there right when it opened so we reasoned the place was freshly cleaned and not full of peanut dust. I didn't see one person eating peanuts so everything was fine. Although I couldn't pull the trigger and let her eat the fries. It seems irresponsible to let her eat something with peanut in the name regardless of how it's processed. Supposedly peanut oil can be safe for those with a peanut allergy.
