We bring our babies to restaurants, but usually around 4 or 5 so we are the early bird special crowd. We definitely sat in the bar section of a TGIFridays to get HH pricing. (Not at the bar tho!)
I side eyed the lady that brought her infant to the nail salon. It seemed weird to me.

Agreed the nail salon seems weird. Especially with the smells. I also feel like I wouldn't be able to take care of him without wet nails
We take her with us pretty much everywhere, but I do try to avoid nicer restaurants and bars later at night. We did go to a neighborhood bar where they said she couldn't come in, which made me mad until they explained it was a 21+ law. Thankfully the patio was under a different law so we sat there.
Right now she's so mobile and still sleeps a lot, so taking her places is just easier. I do try to avoid nursing in public because it's stressful for me, since she cries when she muses often. But I'm getting more and more comfortable with it.
I thought some lady was judging me for having Cora at PF Changs last weekend A.) after 7pm, B.) Not in a car sea, and C.) without a coat (I wrapped her in my jacket for the trip from the car inside). It turns out she was actually staring with baby lust, not judginess. I found out when she saw me catch her staring and she admitted to missing when her kid was a baby. If it's an event with a group or at someone's house, I'll ask if it's okay if I bring her. If it's not, I just don't go. I didn't pine for another baby for as long as I did to leave her behind to be with people I don't like as much as her. I'm basking in the babyness as much as possible.
Hazel goes everywhere we go right now, except the two times we've gone to a bar with friends for drinks. I've taken her to the nail salon, restaurants, to see Wicked and Cinderella, to the movies, etc. That said, she's an incredible easy baby and is quiet or sleeping 98% of the time I've taken her to these things.
We've always take the girls everywhere with us though. We rarely go out to the eat at restaurants without them. DH works a ton so any time he's home to do stuff with us, we want it to be family time.

I take Hazel with me. She sleeps in the carrier or in the stroller. If she wakes up, the girl at the front desk or the owner like to play/talk to her.
We're also just an active couple, and I want our baby to be on board with that, including travel. So I think bringing her along is good! But when we do need to leave her, my first choice is my parents. We have some adult friends that we'll let watch her eventually but I'm not ready yet.

I think you may have the most chill baby on the planet.
She is pretty chill but she is also the youngest of 3 so she has no choice but to just get drug along for everything. I mean she spent a week backstage at tech rehearsals for dance at less than a month old. Her sisters are in activities and we're always on the go, she's definitely had to develop the ability to sleep anywhere and through anything.
