teachermomtobe - That is frustrating. I bet your H is starting to realize it's actually happening and he's clearly feeling unprepared but I bet it's more mentally and emotionally than anything. It's just coming out in annoying ways. Hope he comes around quickly!

My rant is NBR... I decided to sell my poppy tieks online and got a good price for them. I have never bought or sold on any BST FB groups and was so stressed about sending it promptly that I failed to even think about insurance and I'm thinking I didn't secure the box enough. The buyer received the package but it had supposedly been opened... only the top of the tiek box was in there... the bottom of the box with the shoes in them were gone! Buyer filed a claim with usps but after reading the terms I'm figuring the most that would get returned is $50 and because I've read that liability is pretty much on the seller for shipping, I'm going to end up refunding the difference.
I had a breakdown about it because I haven't bought anything for myself in a while and was excited about using the $$ to buy a new pair. Now I can't justify it.
starsandshamrocks123 - Oh no! That majorly sucks. I always wonder how the good stuff manages to get stolen while the random crap is fine. I feel like there are xrays being done somewhere. Sorry it happened to you!
I have a minor vent: I just got home and realized H had been home about an hour and hasn't walked the dog yet. She gets walked before I go to work then when one of us comes home. He went for a run and showered. She's conditioned to go out when someone gets home. I think it's mild torture to make her hold it for longer than 5 minutes. He doesn't understand what I'm saying, his point being he was home earlier than usual and she usually waits longer. Ugh.

marshian that's super frustrating... poor doggy. Did you make a big deal out of it? I feel like I am short on patience these days and that would set me off

I did. He said he'll walk her right away from now on. Best response he could have given.

Thanks for the sympathy starsandshamrocks123 and marshian. I know DH is freaking out about actually having a baby and he says he has no idea what to do and this is how he handles the anxiety. I think the "to-do" list is the one thing he can feel in control of since I'm the one over here growing the kid.

agm04 I know, right? I've accepted it. But I think more than losing money it's depressing there's a perfectly good pair of poppy tieks somewhere they don't belong. I guess I'm hoping someone stole them so at least someone will be wearing them, instead of sitting in some usps facility somewhere

Ahhhh I had a little panic attack today when I realized I have less than 9 weeks to go- now that my RCS is scheduled. 2 months sounds less scary than 9 weeks! So much to do. So much to do!!!!

Mine is in seven!!!! I can't believe it
Little farther behind, mine is roughly 10 weeks away. ( unless u/s shows placenta hasn't move up. Then we'll be rescheduling for earlier.)
I need to stay away from Etsy!!!! I haven't ordered any yet. Yet!
And if DH and I could come up with a name before she arrives. I would use this as our way to announce her arrival and name. (Very few IRL people know it's a girl.)
These are super cute! sabrinaml I might be worried about an outfit with no pants though with strapping into the car seat for the first time - I'm clumsy.
We brought both DD and DS home in the same outfit - it's a gender neutral magnetic footie sleeper with stars on it. I found it the other day and it looked SO teeny - and it was big on DS when we brought him home. Then I got out the baby books and showed the kids pictures of us bringing them home in the same outfit. They were like yeah 'ok, mom, that's nice' . We'll use it again this time.
sdlaura, it wouldn't be a coming home outfit. Maybe what she wears the day she meets big brother (c-section so min of 48 hour stay. Section is on tues, brother will come wed, home on thurs.) would also use it for her newborn photos.
my BFF sent me an etsy gift card when we found out about this baby, and i need to get on using it! i kind of want to use it to get DD1 a big sister outfit. can i FFFC that i'm afraid she will be my favorite kid? lol. it's only bc i know her already - of course i love this in-belly baby like crazy too! i'll probably go with matching outfits for both girls.
OK I thought I should throw this out there that the giraffe has to be an April's Fool Day prank right? I literally just got it this morning listening to them talk about on the radio. The giraffe is named April. It's an endless loop of footage where it's never night time. They posted today that birth is imminent (tomorrow 4/1). We've been bamboozled. Right?

I'll admit I've gotten a little sucked into this. I think its legit. They said that they can't be sure exactly when the baby was conceived which is probably why they jumped the gun a bit here. The April fools thing did cross my mind but I seriously think their business would be destroyed if they did that. There are so many crazies out there following this it would not be good for them. She is definitely pregnant you can see the movement in her belly and I've seen night time footage!

I have to admit I've kept tabs on the giraffe. I was annoyed when they thought it would happen today. Her names April, she's waited so long she might as well stick it out for another day.
Then I realized how everyone was impatient as I got closer to my due date. She just must be so uncomfortable and her baby's daddy does nothing but sit over there in his stall minding his own business. Lol 😂 I don't want to see the actual birth, just the cute little baby giraffe!

agm04 I am totally afraid DD will also be my favorite. She is such a mommy's girl and our personalities mesh so, so well. She's just a little mini me and she's the sweetest thing. How can I possibly luck out and create two perfect little humans??? I feel like I even bonded with her better when I was pregnant than I do with this one. Also FFFC, sometimes his movements start to annoy me :/ it can just be SO much. Completely constant wiggled sometimes. I feel like "hi monster, that's cute, but you can probably stop now."

I could have written this post. Feel the exact same way!

We also have a sleeper that both DD and DS came home in! It has frogs on it. I'm looking forward to putting LO in it as well
