Yup, our A/S is tomorrow afternoon! Also meeting with the MFM/OB and cardiologist.

Do you need any thoughts or prayers?
Just for our anatomy scan to go smoothly tomorrow

How are you feeling (physically/emotionally)?

Feeling pretty good. Was super tired this morning so I'm taking the day to just rest and relax before my work week begins again. I'm coming up on my last loss milestone and trying not to be a giant, paranoid mess.

Any appointments or milestones coming up this week?

MFM appointment on Tuesday to check cervix length.

Do you need any thoughts or prayers?

Just continued growth vibes for both babies and that we get past this loss milestone with zero issues.

Anything else you'd like to share?

We went to Target and bought a few different outfits. H had fun picking out some onesies and I got a couple different sleepers. I also did an inventory of my cloth diapers and then went to two different cloth diaper websites to make wish lists for the rest of what I need.

How are you feeling (physically/emotionally)? Still tired and I'm having some pelvic pain when I sleep. Otherwise not much new. I'm not feeling the baby move yet which stinks.

Anything else you'd like to share? Got my breastpump yesterday (from insurance but picked it up at Target) so we did some shopping. Still haven't really bought anything for the baby, I think we'll go look at furniture the weekend after our a/s. I've got my breast pump, bought a baby carrier, and today I had a BOGO coupon for J&J stuff so bought baby lotion and baby bath wash. That's about it. I'm still paranoid to buy anything too much.

king26 - I feel the same way about not feeling the baby move yet. It makes me panic. I refuse to buy a single baby thing until the anatomy scan shows a healthy baby. I just can't.

How are you feeling (physically/emotionally)? A c/p from CAR check in:

Physically- okay. Still random bouts of nausea and dry heaving when I wake up and haven't eaten in 4-5+ hours - which is every time I sleep?! Ugh. Having under belly pain and my belly is super tender- like if DH tries to cuddle me in bed and wrap his arm around my belly I can't stand it. Then I worry is it so tender bc there's an infection? I have no signs or symptoms of infection but I never heard of having such a tender belly area being normal 😕

Emotionally- ugh. This past week is highs and lows. Slowly letting people know and I start panicking that I'm jinxing ourselves. I haven't felt the baby kick so I keep spazzing and thinking that it's dead. Then the nausea reassures me. Then it goes away for a couple days and I freak out again. The idea of maternity clothes sends me into a panic but my pants hurt to button and the hair tie trick isn't keeping them up. DH is starting to be really into talking to the baby and kissing my tummy and rubbing it. Which makes me melt. But then I get really scared it's dead or has a ton of anomalies and I keep thinking of how we will find out at our anatomy scan on Thursday and how do I call my parents and tell them again that another baby is dead? Literally was awake at 4am this morning wondering how to tell people again about a dead baby. Like wtf is wrong with me. Then I get excited when DH talks to it and I start to picture the nursery and I get excited about decorating. Then I convince myself I'm jinxing myself and stop and panic. I did buy one maternity shirt- the "you're looking at a rainbow" shirt and I'm scared I won't have a reason to wear it once it comes in the mail.

Do you need any thoughts or prayers? I guess to help me stop freaking the fuck out. Stop my jinxing thoughts.

Anything else you'd like to share? Condo buying is awful 🙈 We need to decide whether to put an offer on a place within the next few hours and we are just a mess on our thoughts.

I'm not actually a big flower person - I don't know the names of most. I like Peruvian lillies but I don't think they're spring specific. I like all flowers I just don't have much knowledge about any!

addymac, I'm so sorry PgAL brain keeps f*cking you up. I wish there was something I could say or do to make you feel better. I'm glad you are able to share your thoughts with us some, and hope it helps a little - does YH know you have these panicky thoughts? Whenever I started to feel panicky I would usually talk about it with MH (after simmering in it for a while on my own) and it really helped me. It may also be an idea to discuss this with your MW/OB.. maybe they can schedule in some extra check-ups here and there just for your peace of mind? When I had my huge panic meltdown 2 weeks ago they were great and even got me in for an extra U/S. **hugs** coming your way!

Ohh and therealbug ahh nope still not decided hah! The past 2 weeks I was sure I could do team green but then the past couple of days I've been like OMGosh I need to know now! I honestly don't know what to decide and MH is of no help since he'll just say "I'll go with whatever you want sweetie" LOL.

Guess I best make up my mind as we go in in 6 hours LOL. Or at least bring an envie and a notecard in case I still don't know In a way finding out together with MH in the quiet and privacy of our own home feels better to me then while at the hospital.

How are you feeling (physically and/or emotionally)?
Physically I'm ok. I'm just having a lot of trouble sleeping. I'm not used to sleeping on my side and I've been tossing and turning and waking up with back and hip pain. Emotionally, nervous as always.

Other updates? Thoughts, vents, baby preparations, etc?
Nothing really. Kind of feel like we need to at least get through the A/S before I'll feel ready.

Upcoming milestones or appointments?
None this week. Next OB appt on 4/5 and then A/S on 4/12.

QOTW: Definitely tulips! I usually have them growing in my front yard but I don't think they're going to make it this year. We had some weirdly warm weather in Feb and they started coming up too early then it turned freezing again. 😣

I've been so busy I haven't checked in, but I've had a breather & am checking in to say hi & catch up!



How far along are you? 18w (tomorrow)

How are you physically/emotionally? I'm hanging in there. There are days where physically I feel fine & others where I can't get out of bed. Emotionally things are taking a toll with DH being gone. Raising 2 kids, working full time, being pregnant, and a chronically sick child is wearing on me....

Any appointments or milestones coming up this week?

Yup. I'm having an early anatomy scan, so I can make a decision on whether or not I'm going to go through with amnio. I met with a genetic counselor about a week ago & she thinks it's unnecessary because my M21 results were normal. But I'm just freaked out & don't know what to do.

Do you need any thoughts or prayers? Just prayers for a great scan!

Anything else you'd like to share? I've been feeling a lot of movement over the last week. It's so reassuring. I haven't had any spotting for over a month now, so I feel some relief. And I'm starting to get excited about the pregnancy.

Guys!!!! I am like 95% certain I felt the baby move! He gave me like four kicks in a row! I had been feeling it like once a day for the last 2 days and was googling if what I was feeling was movement, and then just now had four in a row! I'm like 95% sure that's what it is. It kind of made me almost cry. Except im at work so no crying, haha. I just feel so happy
