I'm riding the burnt out train. I've worn dresses and skirts all week to give the illusion I have more fucks you give than I actually do. Today I put on mascara Ann's said screw it as far as make up goes. Judy need to make it through to 4.
M has been super clingy last night and this morning. I really wish those teeth would come through!
My supervisor is out until Wednesday so I get to breathe a little. Today the office is having pizza and cake for a long time manager that's retiring, so I won't be doing much today.
C slept until 10 past 5. He also went to bed at 7:20 last night because we were behind schedule. I am beginning to think 7 is too early for him now. This bothers me.
Busy day at work. Have to run around town getting paperwork signed for permits, pick up drawings, and still play catch up from being behind all week. Also, a co-worker gave notice and we are taking her out to lunch today.

We slept good here except I woke at 6 and couldn't go back to sleep. M has his first dentist appointment today so no work or daycare and we may do something fun in the afternoon. This week my BIL found out he has a pretty big hole in his heart. It has been there his whole life and he never knew. I'm nervous for him and my sister even though he is healthy and I'm sure he will do fine for the surgery. And I'm glad for modern medicine that they can fix it.
flippinchica my dad was also recently diagnosed with a PFO. Crazy that we can go our whole lives without knowing about something like that. Hope your BIL's surgery goes smoothly!

He apparently has a pretty big atrial septal defect. He went into a fib and that is how they found it
HVAC guy should be coming today. Very nervous about how much he'll quote us about the system. We were told last year it was on it's last legs, and it would cost several thousand dollars to replace. We risked it and made it another year, but we know we can't do that again. Ugh, adulting sucks.

Wow, that's so scary. My dad's was pretty small (should say PFO by the way, stupid autocorrect). They only found it because his left arm suddenly went numb and they ran a shitload of tests. He won't need surgery to correct it. I'm sorry your BIL does - but so glad they found it and can fix it!
To those of you in the 18 month regression....keep hanging on. I think we are on the other side. We've had 3 good nights (knocking on wood) after many weeks of wake-ups. He was consistently waking up 2 hours after going to bed and needing help to get back to sleep. Also, other wake-ups too.
I'm hoping this sticks and he actually becomes a decent sleeper for the most part from this point on. The first year and a half have been so rough. I'm hoping #2 is a good sleeper but at least if not, we know we can (barely) survive it.

We were told a similar thing last year. We have any attic fan so we can get by pretty well by turning it on with the windows open. I'm slightly scared to turn the air on this year, DNW to replace the unit.

I've decided to go lighter in the studying today. I made a list yesterday and I'm gif to focus on that, too much and I'm just going to get myself worked up. At this point I mostly know it or not.
I indulged in some retail therapy and got these for M and I.
I'm excited about our matching outfits, just in case anyone wasn't aware of my nerd factor 😄
Morning ladies! I may do something crazy today and sign up to be a Mary Kay consultant. Mostly for the discount, but I am nervous because I am not one to push products on other people.
