I'm here. Sorta. I'm just putting one foot in front of the other. I've been super stressed and what happened over the weekend pushed me over the edge. It's work related which is why I'm so vague. I'm trying to be a little more gentle with myself and spend a little more time in the gym which should help.
Thanks for the hugs guys. I really needed it and it was much appreciated.

Talk to me about sleep training at this age. DS2 use to fall asleep on his own but between schedules, sickness, and surgery, I had gotten in the habit of rocking him to sleep.
I want him to go back to falling asleep on his own.
@janetheconquerer I don't know the details, but I'm sorry you guys are struggling. I hope you're able to find a therapist who is helpful. Sending hugs your way.

twins.
i got nothing. my kid stands at the crib screaming mommy at the top of his lungs while hysterically crying now. that is until i go in there and rock him to sleep.
Last night I let him cry for 15 mins. Went in and sat to rock him for like 3 mins and put him down when his eyes were heavy and half closed. he rolled over and went to sleep. I will try again tonight.

@janetheconquerer if it makes you feel any better a friend of mine just said she took vacation yesterday And came to work today with 280 unread emails. lol yikes!
tuscanlatte That frockbox thread was so entertaining I was sad when you decided to discontinue, lol. I contemplated whether we should sponsor a subscription for you in the name of board entertainment.
joi922 Now you have Beauty and the Beast songs in my head. My kids haven't seen it yet. Were your kids scared by it? I think I'm too protective when it comes to movies. The only one I&A have seen is Frozen, which did freak them out at first but they're fine with it now.
Also, I'm sorry about your back. I hope the advil is helping.
aydee I think my kids had more trouble with frozen than Beauty and the Beast. My son couldn't stop asking why the parents were gone/what happened to the ship. Surprisingly, he was fine with the wolf chase and beast in BATB, and loved the dancing dishes. I would say give it a try.
runningmommy519, unread email makes my skin crawl. I am a bit ocd with things related to email. I came in today to 150 unread email - i went thru and marked them all read immediately. Then more just kept coming in. the 26 wouldn't budge, i'd read and delete and then it'd be 26 again.
right now all are read - but i have about 15 marked as tasks.

Speaking of Dill Pickle chips. I am so glad I resisted the temptation to buy them this week. Pretty sure that bag would be gone if I had bought them a few days ago.
