I'm tremendously sad that my aversion so far this pregnancy is chocolate. It's not like I would throw up if i ate it, but I just have no desire to eat it.
I was the mean mom that took away the diapers. Seriously 48 hours later and we were good to go. Good luck today!
omg you're brave.
I want to try the 2(3?) day method, but DH and I work conflicting schedules, and there's very little consistency here. I feel like I would be setting E up to fail.
I really need to get a new job...
I haven't taken away the diapers. Not ready for that lol. And I don't think I'm going to night train yet. With him upstairs and me down, and him still in a crib, I'm just not ready for that.
We are babysitting my mom's dog for a few days. He is ancient (15yrs). He no longer knows when he has to, or when he is pooping it just falls out. I knew this going in as he spends every day with me, but last night put me over the edge. I was super nauseous and the smell was ungodly. I ended up sleeping on the couch so he wouldn't try to get in the bed, and woke up every hour to let him out. He is with us for three more days, and I don't know if I can do it.
Potty training experiment with DS day one. This is going to be an exhausting weekend I can tell. Although seeing him in little man unders is like the cutest thing ever.

At what age? I would love to have DS PT'd before September..
I'm thinking movie and a fire tonight while eating something decadent ... Inspiration?
That sounds so cozy; I might have to do the same! I always love doing a cheese/baguette/fruit smorgesboard for dinner and movie night because you can just snack throughout the movie. Although when you said decadent I immediately thought of some delicious creamy pasta dish and chocolate.
Not sure what kind of movies you like; if you're into classic movies I always love Rear Window for suspense, an Affair to Remember for romance, and Arsenic and Old Lace or The Quiet Man for comedy.
I wonder how many eye rolls I will get from DH if I suggest another HP movie marathon...
But but but WINE!!! Baguette, cheese and wine! Pasta sounds so good though. Maybe a lasagna, ceasar salad and garlic bread.
Movie wise, we want to watch all Oscar nominated movie before the show so tonight will be Boyhood and Whiplash

I know, I know. I was hoping if I just left off mentioning wine it would escape our collective memory for the next 9 months...
I woke up with a migraine this morning, and now feel like I've been lied to by everyone who told me, "Migraines go away when you're pregnant." Mine usually last for 3 days, even with triptan meds, so I can only imagine the hell I'm in for this weekend. I'm bummed.
ETA: On a positive note, I purchased some awesome rodeo tickets this morning. I won't be able to drink there this year, but Rodeo Houston is always a good time.
I am supposed to take DS to hang out with my friend and her son today. She texted me earlier this week asking to hang out but has yet to firm up any plans with me despite several texts on my part. (I wanted to go to the trampoline place, but she didn't confirm before the tickets got sold out for today). She said she was going to get her hair done this morning, so I told her to CALL me when she was done. I am going to be super-pissed if she cancels on me because A. she does it all the time and B. I turned down plans with another family to see her.
emejay We always watch all the movies right before the Oscars, too! We watched Boyhood last Friday - I'm curious what you think of it, you'll have to let us know. I don't know anyone else who has seen it, and MH and I have wildly differing opinions.

We always to too! It's crazy but I think we've only seen like 1 or 2 on the list this year so we need to get moving with our movie watching.

That is sad:( I think I am starting to have an aversion to CHEESE. Devastated over here.
Yesterday I discovered the Lindt Strawberry Cheesecake mini bars and um they are amazing (even better because ether were purchased on clearance at Target). I can not stop eating them! They taste just like the strawberry cream filled chocolate bars I have had when traveling in Germany. This is the first time I have found anything close them in the States. Pretty sur I'm going to be packing a trip back to target this evening!
I really wanted some of the SweetTarts conversation hearts to but Wegmans didn't have them. I think I'll be making a trip to target tomorrow to see if they have them.
Oh god @preppy I would DIE if I couldn't eat cheese.
Methinks I might bake brownies today.
Right? Yesterday I ate cheese and crackers for dinner and then this morning we went out to breakfast and I ordered a breakfast burrito and almost threw up. Right now the idea of eating cheese is repulsing me. I really hope this is short lived. I love cheese:(

I've got the same thing going on! I have a huge sweet tooth and I love desserts, especially chocolate. I've had no desire whatsoever for anything sweet. DH and I went to Target today and walked down the candy aisle. I told him I couldn't believe that NONE of it appealed to me. I guess it's not necessarily a bad thing that I don't want sweets - it's just really bizarre.
2 accidents so far. The last one caused a little freak out because he doesn't like feeling wet, which is good, but he really fought putting on a new pair of unders. Nothing in the potty yet. I guess the first day is the worst and they kind of get better from here. I just really wanted to take advantage of this unexpected long weekend, because I didn't want to ask for more time off to do this.
Once you can get him to sit and pee it will all work. I'm not sure how else to describe it but I would offer the toilet every 2 hours, if they went every hour if they didn't. Honestly the time they sit down and pee and there is cheering and high fiving, it is like it clicks. My kids were 2 years 2 months when they were potty trained.
It's so unbelievably cold here today! Good things I have absolutely no plans! SO is still on bed rest following his surgery and the only thing I have to do this weekend is go buy new underwear to fit my bloated ass (that's a thing right?) And grocery shopping .

A movie and a fire sounds nice.
What surgery did your SO have? How long is his recovery supposed to be?
My coffee aversion is GONE! I enjoyed every sip of my coffee this morning. Which is good....but has me worried that it's bad....
I have a super busy day! I'm doing a photoshoot this morning at 11, she wants "pinup style" but doesn't want to do anything boudoir...so I'm not sue how it's going to go. And my strobes just got here this week and I haven't even played with them yet to set them up...oops. Then I'm hosting a Norwex party, then I have a girls night tonight with some friends if I stay awake that long.
Tomorrow we're going to my parents and have a chill day.

I'm a downer here but I had that for my third child and it never came back. I still can't stand chocolate cake things, like brownies, donuts, chocolate cake, chocolate muffins, etc.

Holy crap you're ambitious.
I so badly want to do a boudoir for my h.
I mentioned doing one once. DH didn't like the idea. But I think he believes all photographers are male.

Please don't scare me with this!!! I have been having issues with chocolate too! I don't want to hate chocolate forever.

I've been wearing a lot of yoga bras because they hurt my boobs the least. Wouldn't you know I woke up today with a bump on my chest between my boobs. Motherfucker..
