2. We have a mini session for family photos booked for April 30th so that needs to be my motivation for #1.
3. My mom's birthday is on Thursday and I have literally no idea what to get her. I don't really have a ton of money to spend and she hates people touching her so things like massages and mani/pedis are out.
How long did you last on your whole30? 2 weeks? Less? They say day 10 or 11 are really common days to quit. It's hard if for no other reason than it takes a ton of prep and cooking. I would not have been able to do it with newborn ds. At this age he will usually sit and play and I can make all my food, but I cooking or at least heating up 3 times a day.
So you did great for however many days you did. It's not easy, and you learned what stressors and life challenges can put you off track. Also keep in mind if you're breastfeeding you can loosen up on the no snacks rule to make sure you're getting all the calories you need. And if you try again and it doesn't work out, maybe it's just not right for right now, and that's ok. It's a personal challenge and you get to decide what works for you and what doesn't.
