I've got a doctor's appointment today with a new primary care doc. Other than that, I have napping on my schedule for today.
I know I shouldn't complain...ds sleeps good at night when we first put him down. Usually about 4 hours, occasionally even 5. But after feeding him (usually around 2-3 am) he'll only sleep an hour, maybe two. I was up with him from 2-3:30 (nursing still takes a long time, and then he was a little fussy.) I finally fell back asleep around 4. 5 am? He starts making noise. I'd kill for another 3 hours after MOTN feeding. I know it's normal and I'm lucky to get add much sleep as I do with a newborn. I'm just exhausted right now.
Side question: anyone else have a noisy sleeper? Not always, but many times C will make noise in his sleep. (Enough to wake me, thinking he's ready to eat, but not actual crying or anything.) It's just enough to wake me, then he's fine. I lay there listening for a few minutes, he's fine. As soon as I doze back off, another whimper. He typically does it more during nap time.

sterl724 Max is noisy all night. I hate it. We have guests coming in two weeks (my sister! I'm excited!) and the moment they are gone, he's getting his own room.
sterl724 - mine are both noisy sleepers. Over the weekend while my H was on MOTN duty he figured out that E will fuss without actually wanting to get up to eat. I was feeding him when he would fuss (because I thought he was hungry) but he was fine. We would pop the pacifier back in and he would keep sleeping. I think it's gas pains.
And hey, hi, hello! I've had a horrible cold and slept all day yesterday. Thank god my mom was here. I feel almost human. And my babes are TWO MONTHS old today! How did that happen?

Your babies will be old enough to babysit my baby.
I really want Indian good for dinner tonight. BUT I don't want to drive anywhere. I wish we lived in a more walkable part of town. I could, like, in theory walk to Wal-Mart because we love less than a quarter of a mile from the store; but I'd have to cross a four lane highway with two kids.
I'm in a wedding in July! I have my dress, but who knows how it's going to fit post-baby. I bought a size larger than what I normally wear and it's kind of an empire-waist kind of deal, so I'm feeling fairly confident it won't matter if my tummy is still quite out there.

sterl724 another noisy sleeper here. She makes a very loud single cry from time to time that sounds like she's awake but she isn't. It wakes me up but now I lay there and extra beat to see if it's sleep noises or about to be the song of her people.

BIL2 is getting married in a month, and I'll have to buy something to accommodate my boobs having grown that's also nursing friendly. I'm probably going to wait until the week before to shop just so I'm sure it fits. Same for DD's dress.
I love watching DD stretch and yawn in the morning. It just always looks like the most comfy, best stretch ever, and she always puts her whole body into it. It's cute
I don't understand how babies who are literally pooping liquid get constipated. How hard is it to push out liquid poop? Related: I hope DD poops today. :[

That brand-new digestive system isn't all it's cracked up to be sometimes. Do you do tummy massage? It might help.

I've been dealing with this too for a while. His doctor told us yesturday to give him a tsp of apple or prune juice with a tsp of water once or twice a day. I hope it works this week.
