I'm going to require some B haircut pictures LizInFL.....
That kid makes my day.
I second this. I also am in love with his wardrobe and I want all his clothes for B. LizInFL
Y'all are too funny. He is a character, though, that's for sure, and I love dressing him. I figure at some point he's going to have an opinion but until then...mama's choice.
Poland was playing (and won) a World Cup qualifying soccer match on Sunday. We went to ILs as they had the entire polish community over (or so it felt).
Anyone have a baby who is moving around (and off) their play mat?
Only when he's naked and on his back. He will scoot all over the place. I think he's trying to escape the diaper.
That's interesting! Lilah does this inch worm type thing. She brings her knees up under her and pulls forwards with her arms. She's not going far, but dang.

DS2 moves like the hand on a clock when he's on his back. I'll lay him down with the top of his head facing the TV stand and he usually ends up doing a 180 with his feet at the TV stand.

On her tummy?? Wow that's crazy.
Yes, on her tummy. Lillian started army crawling just after 5 months so I'm not too surprised, but seriously. She's growing up too fast!

oh my goodness like crazy. Both of them. I lay them flat on their back, look away for literally a second, look back and they are halfway across the room from rolling and inching and twisting themselves all about. Alec refuses to lay on his back now, the second you put him on it he flips to Timmy and tries to crawl.
hangry I noticed that too! Not on purpose. AVs outfit is actually a gift so I had to take a pic for my friend who got it for her (secretly I don't like it). Now ABs Pink Floyd shirt, I take all the credit.

How are they old enough to start being mobile!?
Over here it seemingly happened over night, like they weren't doing this over the weekend.

It reminds me of that Friends episode when Phoebe babysits the triplets and is changing their diapers on the mat.
It is EXACTLY like that. Especially when I'm changing diapers (I do it on the floor in the living room during the day.
Morning ! Good luck at work today goldenlove3! It really does get easier each day!
Boring day for me, just work and then we might get wings tonight at BW3 for a fundraiser for H's fire station.

I'm just trying to kill time until lunch. There's a burger food truck coming today. I brought a salad, but a burger sounds way better. I've also seemed to have misplaced my motivation, so if anyone finds it can you please send it back to me? kthnx.

I haven't done anything at work today except TCF & make a Disney.com purchase.
5 character dolls & 2 tshirts. The dolls are $11/each if you buy 2 or more and some of their shirts were $12/each if you buy 2. I had to spend $50 to get free shipping and had a 20%off coupon code. With tax I paid $68 for all of that. But it's a great deal because all of the items I bought are usually $16.95.
M is really into the dolls and have a discipline pom pom jar. When she does something good, she gets a pom pom. If she's not listening or is being naughty, we take one away. When she fills up the jar she gets a special toy. MH has been taking her to the Disney store so she can pick out a doll. SO I'M SAVING YOU MONEY DH!
LOL! I see we have the same logic when it comes to shopping. I always tell MH how much I saved him, he's usually not impressed.

jubilantsquirrel A burger sounds really good! I had a salad and it's not doing it for me. H and I already decided to do Chipotle for dinner tonight because we assumed the day would be too crazy to make dinner. Really I'm sure there will be plenty of time but we've been good all week so whatever.
goldenlove3, I get it. We went out to Red Robin for dinner on my first day back. It made things a little easier not having to worry about cooking or cleaning.
tgrimes1980, one of the pluses of working such early hours is that I'm always home in time to hide the evidence of my shopping sprees from MH. Saves me from the eye rolls and heavy sighs.

Anyone's baby not rolling over yet? DS2 is 4.5 months and not even close. He's plenty strong (doctor even mentioned that at his last appointment) but just NOT interested.

mine. He will be 5 months tomorrow. He has rolled back to belly once. Whenever he is on his back now he always rolls to his side and hangs out there. And when he's on his belly he pushes up with his arms. So he's strong but also just not interested. I'm not worried about it though. J is probably 20 pounds at this point and he will roll eventually. I worried about every milestone with B and it drove me crazy. I'm trying to take a more breezy approach this time around.
This is pretty much where we're at as well. He'll get up on one side when he's on his back but I think his arm gets in the way. He's rolled belly to back before several times, but hasn't in a few weeks. But he's been pushing up with arms a lot more. I'm also not worried about it. His little effort grunts are adorable though.

You guys, I devoured that entire burger and also the fries. So. Good. The beef is all natural, local, grass fed beef. Happy cow = happy burger = happy JubilantSquirrel's belly.
