I have a monster headache today. I got my period yesterday so with the two of those combined I'm just a big pile of unmotivated self pity laziness. I have a ton of stuff to do yet I can't get my mind in gear. Thankfully my morning client was a no-go so I have some office time to drink coffee and try to organize myself.
My house is a mess. I got behind on dishes so I'm a dishwasher load behind (especially since I emptied all the leftovers out of the fridge last night.)
I made stuffed shells last night and B loved them. I was surprised how much he ate, H wasn't as big of a fan. I need to run errands tomorrow while H is at preschool. I need to drop off the registration packet to her new preschool. I also decided to buy a nice outfit for B & R for the pictures on friday. My older sister said she would chip in too. I'm planning to go to old navy because they always have good prices.

What kind of stuffed shells did you make? I make a taco version that I love. I've tried cheese/alfredo type recipes but they end up too rich for me.
You mentioned before the older 2 kids needed new clothes and stuff. I know there's the go fund page and the bracelets and stuff. I feel so awful and would love to help in someway. What is best for them right now? I'd totally pitch in for the other kids since their needs are kind of on the back burner but also would help in any way that is really needed for them right now.

I did 3 cheese, but I kind of winged it. I used ricotta, parm and mozz with parsley, basil, salt and pepper. Next time I will not add salt because they were a little salty and I didn't take into account the parm being salty. I just used store bought marinara with browned Hamburger for the sauce.
The kids do need clothes but right now it's more that my sister is to preoccupied by what's going on with O to worry about getting them new clothes. She has the money but she just needs to actually buy the things. My older sisters have been giving R hand me downs from their daughters so she's fine. B needs some longer pants, but he's ok for right now. I'm getting them an outfit each because they are doing pictures on Friday and I want them to look nice. Everything that B has with him is a graphic t with either jeans or sweats. Thank you for the offer to help, I will let you know if there is something you can do.

I guess I haven't done the cheese stuffed and marinara sauce. It's always been a white sauce. The marinara would definitely tone down the richness. I can't remember the brand but the spaghetti sauce I've been using lately has eggplant, artichoke, and carrot purée in it so I feel like it's some added hidden veggies and it tastes good.
Yeah- I can totally understand that the kids clothes and things are totally not on her radar right now. And if she's not seeing them daily it's not easy for her to notice these things. She has enough on her plate. I wasn't sure if they've had enough donations to cover all of their needs. The last thing they need is any other stressors.

Mmmm, stuffed shells. I made a butternut squash and ricotta version one time that was excellent. It called for bechamel sauce to top it off, but honestly, it was just as good without sauce and a little chicken broth added to the pan to keep them moist.
I had a dirty dream about a coworker last night and now I feel awkward and guilty and weird. I've never even thought about him like that so it's so out of left field. Stupid subconscious.

What is bechamel sauce? And do you have a recipe for this meal?!

I'm alive! Barely. Pedialyte popsicles are the bomb. I'm tenderly trying some soup now. It's been a rough 24 hrs. Daycare won't take Ryan because we're both sick so he's carrying germs so Dh has been taking care of him while I puke my guts out. It's been swell

So I just checked in S's mouth to see what the molar situation was. I have only been checking the bottom because I think they generally always come in first. The bottom on the left is going to be cutting through any time now, the bottom right isn't anywhere close. But then I checked the top and her left top is like halfway in! I couldn't believe it. She's been crabby and I've been giving her Motrin for what I thought was that bottom molar. Looks like it was the top one all along.

DD just flipped out at bedtime and spent 30 minutes crying and thrashing before she passed out. Very unusual for her. Usually if she is resisting bedtime she is smiling and cute about it. Hopefully she sleeps ok tonight after all that.

The cold going through the house seems to be a mild one which is good because it feels like I may be next.
We went to the grocery store this morning and then I managed to do some vacuuming this afternoon. I've been slowly making some progress around the house!
H and L always fall asleep in the car. This morning they transferred into the stroller and slept through the grocery shopping trip so I didn't put them in bed after lunch. I won't be making that mistake again. L ended up falling asleep on me at 5:30. By 6:00 I tried to gently wake him so I could start dinner, figuring he'd snoozed enough to tide him over. He was not happy about that and threw an epic, full scale 30 minute temper tantrum. And then at bedtime didn't fall asleep until 9:00. Yikes.
I hope all the sick mamas and babies are on the mend! C is still coughing but he feels fine, and has been fever free since Monday. So he's going to school tomorrow. Also, the amount of whining coming out of both my kids today was epic. I need some solo time. They wore me down.
