lilmonk yesss I did DD's entire room today. I really really want to vacuum my car out for some crazy reason (trying to convince DH to do it tho).
I almost ...almost tried washing the car today but I knew my doctor and husband would kill me if I tried the day after coming out of hospital since I'm not supposed to overheat. I decided to reorganise our three pantries. 😂
Our bedroom, ensuite, and walk in are done! Tomorrow I'll finish DS1's room and the nursery, and possibly the other bathroom. Breaking the house into sections so I don't go mad.

Maybe I'm just an oddball on the strip/sweep... then again, my OB commented when I got my IUD at my 6 week check up that I didn't even flinch so who knows
My cervix check last Friday was kind of painful, but I'm beginning to wonder if it was that he MW had long nails (she even accidentally scratched my leg at one point).
I see my OB today and hopefully he does a cervix check. At this point I think I'd be fine with a membrane sweep too if he recommended it.

I asked for mine by asking the nurse if he would do one 🙈 I gave no fucks because it was my EDD, and I was just done and over with being pregnant. (I also knew we were going to be talking induction at that app)

They are so precious nic! How you holding up with the twins? My cousin had twins close to the same time as you- I know it's probably a lot of hard work and struggling despite the cuteness and rewards

Thank you we are doing OK, battles with the reflux/crying is tough but we are making headway. Everyone is still alive in the household. We do get out of the house thankfully, with minimal tears from both. Big brother is loving them too. But to be honest, I'm ready to go back to work.

/anecdote but my cousins DD would not stop crying due to colic and reflux despite all the usual remedies. She ended up taking her to her chiropractor and saw an immediate change- apparently now when she goes she sleeps a solid 4 hours after the appointment. I don't know much about it, but maybe it's worth it!
Glad you're still getting out, and I think it's completely reasonable to want to work and have some adult time away haha
XP from March - So, my OB was in a GREAT mood today and chit chatted with us a long time, haha! He just got back from vacation so I'm thinking he was recharged. Anyway, he did a membrane sweep without me knowing - not nearly as painful as I thought it would be and so far no cramping or discomfort from it. He said I was 3-4 cm dilated and completely (not sure if he used that word actually...he might have said "very") effaced which might be why I didn't have as much discomfort as when the midwife checked me on Friday when I wasn't effaced and only 2cm.
He predicts this baby will be coming sometime this week, but we scheduled an NST for Monday just in case. I'm all excited and nervous and glad my cervix seems to be undergoing some changes!

DH is planning on doing freezer meals on Saturday. I feel like because of this, I will go into labor immediately after he purchases all the ingredients but before he's been able to begin working on them.
When I was pregnant with DD, I was due 1/10. I had to BEG DH to take our Christmas tree down on New Year's Day- he said he could do it that weekend (1/4-1/5). I kept insisting that we better get it done because YOU NEVER KNOW.
I went into labor with DD on 1/2.
I get so freaked out every time he tries to procrastinate something this time, like DID YOU LEARN NOTHING FROM THE CHRISTMAS TREE LAST TIME?

ThankfulSnail bahahaha that sounds like my DH. I'm convinced he doesn't realize how close I am to having this kid. Trying to convince him to vacuum my car & install the seat base today.
I think I have one of the latest EDDs here, and I am so excited for this baby I can't even contain it. Good luck to all who hav inductions and such planned soon! I'll just keep sitting around pregnant until the end of april, or who knows, maybe may.

There are only 3 items left on my pre-baby to do list:
-dust & vacuum the nursery -make birth affirmation flash cards -make a labor play list (or two)
But for some reason after having great momentum for the past few months, I am stuck on those and haven't gotten anything done in the last week or so. Hopefully tonight we'll at least get the cleaning in the nursery done.
