We put the baby down for a nap around 11am. By 1pm, I was like "she's still sleeping?" So, check the monitor. Baby is sitting in her crib quietly playing with her feet. Haha! I wonder how long she'd been doing that?
Always nice when they can do that upon waking up. It's a great skill especially in the AM.
She is such a team player these days. I leave a rattle in her crib along with pacifiers throughout the night. When she wakes up, she plays and babbles until I get her. I actually want to put an "okay to wake" type clock in her room so she can start to associate it with when I will come to get her. I usually go around 7am.
I'm sure I'm screwing this by talking out loud, but she's a champion sleeper in her room all night. I miss her but it was a good decision for us.
joy yes first rule is never talk about how good of a sleeper you have..it screws me every time haha. Great move about rattle. I always found my kids sleep better in their own room.
So I'm 99% sure this shit sleep is being caused my teething and not a regression. The last two nights I've given Motrin or Tylenol before bed and he wakes up around the time he's due for more medicine. Tonight he even put himself to sleep at bedtime and was up almost 6 hours later. I feel better that it's hopefully short lived and he returns to unicorn status of STTN.
R has never STTN, but pretty positive he is also having worse sleep due to teething. The two center of his mouth looks swollen and he is drooling a ton. I have resorted to letting him sleep on me the past few nights while we have been on vacation.

Ugh. I was just about to take my final exam for the semester and my husband called me crying that he has to go to the hospital right now. So now we're at this other hospital that's kinda a drive away and I may not be able to take the final.
shehulk723, I am so sorry. This is so unfair to all of you in your family. Health can be so fragile, and it must be such a torment not to be able to just be fixed. Your poor husband.

Would you be able to convince your instructor to let you take the final during an alternative time? Having to take your husband to the hospital seems like a really legitimate reason for a short postponement on the test.
I'm so sorry you all find yourselves ay the hospital again, though. :(
I was always told by the pedi only fluoride-free toothpaste until age 2. I brush my babies' teeth with the fingertip toothbrush and water. Once they are about 18 months I add a toddler toothpaste.

The same. My pedi gives fluoride drops since our local water is fluoride free.
shehulk723, I hope you can talk to your professor and get an alternative time for your exam. A medical emergency is a legit excuse!
DD has pink eye in both eyes. UGGHH. She still has a bad cough and has 2 teeth coming through. Poor thing is absolutely miserable and I feel awful that she feels awful. As soon as I saw her puffy, gooey eyes today I brought her to the pedi urgent care so we have a chance of going back to daycare on Monday

I spent the afternoon by myself! Well, not by myself, I was off getting a rad haircut (it's so awesome, I feel super cool). E refused his second nap and H had to deal with meltdown while I was away. I think it gave him some perspective on what I do by myself on a regular basis.
hannahbear, how totally fun! Your hair looks great! Its always nice when the other half gets a taste of the meltdowns, too.... the tiny vindictive part of me enjoys it, anyway. Except then I get to come in and fix everything afterward, sigh.
