Back labor sucks. Heating pad helps. Still every 7 minutes apart.
Massage or counter pressure works better. Try walking to make them more effective, and poses to get her to turn. It's believed that back labor is caused by a non-optimal position of baby. Not sure how true that really is, but J was sunny side up when born and I had horrid back labor
My OB said the same. Back labor due to DS being sunny side up.
Also, if your water breaks, mark the time. You'll want to call then because they'll start the countdown clock
Will do. I just took a shower and shaved and now I feel like my contractions have subsided a bit. I wonder if it's just because the water helped a bit or if I was just having contractions due to losing my plug. Ugh this is a mind fuck.

So exciting onesweetworld! Hope this is the real deal!
Meanwhile I'm heading back to bed in five minutes. Later we have a 'retirement' party for one of the babywearing group leaders. She loves donuts so everyone is bringing donuts and breakfast food. Can't wait!

My ex was at the wedding we went to last night. Talk about awkward. We completely avoided each other and were seated on opposite sides of the room so thank you to the bride and groom for that. My husband kept trying to guess who it was which was funny.
Ffsc: I have never understood the DD love even though I lived in Boston for close to a decade. It was weird to me at first that it's not in CA, but not bad weird.

onesweetworld exciting!!! All I had was back labor and it really does suck. Hugs, girl. I found my contractions got infinitely worse around 6/7cm. So try to relax while you can.

I feel a million times better today than I did yesterday. H is over his nephew's house all day to help him fix his car so DS and I are going to head to the garden store in a bit to get some outdoor stuff, chicken food, birdseed, etc.
I think we're going to go to the dollar store or target too to get some party stuff for his birthday next weekend too. It's amazing how much better I feel when the sun is shining. 😎

DD is meh to me too. I only go there in coffee emergencies or if someone else is buying for me.

I'm thinking about trying to nap. When I was laying down my contractions were way worse though. They are coming back though so I hope today is baby day.

+1
They're coffee is really meh. It would also be nice if they offered soy milk

Nap is not a bad idea, but anecdote/ I found my contractions slowed down when I laid down. Walking around seemed to keep them going better.
Ugh I was feeling relatively calm about our trip. Then my mother-in-law called me and now all I can think of is DS freaking out on the plane, lost luggage, and a long car ride from the air port because traffic "might be bad".

I think I only like it so much bc it's so accessible. The food I like too. I'm not a big fast food breakfast person but have learned to love DD. The coffee is meh, but cheap and there's always a drive thru nearby so it's the default!

I'm in more pain laying down than I am on the ball but I would love to be able to sleep. I have 4 nails left to pull off lol.
