It's 7:30 and x is already going down for his morning nap. This is what happens when you wake up for the day at 5am, small friend.
Between X and his molars H and his snoring, I've been awake since 1:45am. Tired and grumpy.
We have our first music class this morning. I hope he sleeps enough to be able to have fun in it today.
Happy productivity, leahks77! I hope it isn't derailed today!
Ugh boo these molars!!! I don't remember them being this bad with C at all. With him I just noticed one day that there were teeth back there. Lu has been MISERABLE with them for a month now. They're coming in soooooo slow. I hope you guys have a fun music class and get an afternoon nap together
Morning! We have a pretty low key day planned. I think we are going to hang out at home this morning then after we eat lunch I'm putting everyone in the car because I have to meet my BIL to get my nephew. My plan is to go after lunch so that hopefully everyone can get a nap on the drive.

Good morning. I don't usually have problems with seasonal allergies but my throat has been so scratchy. And DH and DD both have really puffy eyes. Maybe our weird warm winter has everything blooming at once. I think I will treat with a Starbucks drink. After last night's bedtime meltdown and subsequent CIO solution, H and I decided that we might as well take this opportunity to really break the bottle/sleep connection. So starting tonight, the bedtime routine will now be bottle, brush teeth, book, bed. Wish us luck!

Any updates on Baby O? I've been thinking about him this morning.

As far as I know everything is the same. The doctors tell her they don't think he'll make it past that day and then something happens and he gets a little better. He last update said that the doctors think he will get over this current infection but they don't have a lot of hope for long term. So it's just a wait and see thing at this point.

Sending good thoughts to everyone with sick and/or teething babies and lack of sleep.
It is the most Monday of Mondays over here. I had a meeting scheduled for 9am, but we didn't take into account the time difference for the university we are having the meeting with, so that was rescheduled for 12pm. Then my meeting immediately following ended way early because we don't have the tools to do what is being asked of us. So hopefully that will get figured out in time for our rescheduled meeting tomorrow afternoon. This project also has to be complete by the end of next week, so it's fun times. Now I'm just praying nothing goes wrong with the kids today so I can actually sit at my desk and get some work done!
I made it to spin this am, and the kids went to childwatch. They took the big kids outside for 45mins and then to kid gym so C got his exercise in too Then we went to my mom girlfriend's for lunch and sat outside and it was heavenly. So far, motivated Monday is working for me. Now I just need L to nap so I can do house stuff...
Motivated Monday! I was motivated enough to FINALLY go to the grocery store, with both kids in tow. We got up and ate breakfast and got to the store by 8:30. We had to hit 2 stores though so it took most of the morning. I think I'm stocked up enough so I can start doing Whole 30.
Last night H initiated a conversation about our house, all the different things we need to remodel yet and an option he thought up for adding 1-2 more bedrooms to our upstairs. Not something we'll be doing real immediately but it tells me he's more on board with more children that I thought. 👍🏻

I have had the hiccups off and on all day. Nothing is helping. I am annoyed. I also suspect the person who sits next to me in this cube farm left early because she was tired of listening to "HIC! HIC!" nonstop.
Also, daycare just text me. Her daughter returned to school today and she herself woke up feeling good so she will be open tomorrow. I already have my MIL lined up for tomorrow. I don't know, what do you think? My gut says stick with MIL to give it an extra day and make sure nobody else turns up sick. Or would you send your child(ren) to daycare?

If you have the backup option, I would use it. An extra buffer day would be nice (and hopefully now that she's feeling better she can sanitize everything in daycare! )

We got outside for a walk this morning to take advantage of the nicer weather. Of course the twins can't resist napping in the car or stroller so they had a morning nap. I put them down much later than usual this afternoon to give them opportunity to have a shorter afternoon nap. I'm currently watching them chat and have a pacifier/lovey exchange so I'm not sure napping is going to happen. They are going to be beasts by dinner hour!

That's what I'm thinking. I'm sure she'll think I'm overly paranoid, I need to text her back that they aren't coming, but I don't care.

Meh, just tell her you'd already made arrangements. I would totally take advantage of one more day of space too
chocolate I'd keep them out for an extra day too. Influenza has been spreading like wildfire for this reason, people need to stay away from other people when they are sick.
I have acquired my nephew. Most of the day was spent in the car today. The drive was fine until S decided she was over it the last 45 minutes. DH just got home and is already driving me nuts.
We had a super full day. After L's nap (I let C skip and watch a movie because he was being awesome) we went to the library and then playground and then home for dinner. Now she's asleep and he's doing puzzles quietly. Today felt like a win, parenting wise. Also, L went in the giant sandbox today. Omg that girl found her happy place. Both kids played in there for 30 mins. Quietly and nicely. And she didn't eat any sand. Looks like we are getting a sandbox this year...

We're in the market for one! What size are you looking into?

You've been driving so much lately. Hope the 3 are easier for you this week and your H stays out of your way :-P

I have to take B to meet my other sister on wed night then I'm done for a while. I escaped to target for a little bit so I'm a little less crabby now.

I think the new bedtime routine went ok. She cried for less than three minutes before she fell asleep. The only problem is I don't think she caught on that the bottle I gave her was her bedtime bottle. She only had 4 ounces; she usually has closer to 6 before bedtime. FX she doesn't wake up wanting more milk later.

I have no idea, haha. I just decided today that we need one. C had such a blast in there too. What kind/size are you thinking of?

R got a sandbox for her birthday and I am putting off getting it set up. I really hope she isn't a sand eater.
