My toddler is a pro at asking me for things the second I sit down to nurse B. Currently, both B and the toddler are conspiring against me...I really need to poop but B is nursing and DD is screaming for a snack.
#mylyfe. Figuring out how to handle the needs of both kiddos at the same time is freaking challenging.
I've lost my cool with the toddler approximately 577 times already today. I feel terrible.

FFWC... DS2 was happily nursing this morning and I had an emergency poop situation. Nursed him on the toilet. Not my proudest moment.

I'm sorry. DS1 has been so tough recently. It's normal threenager stuff but that doesn't make it any easier. I get really frustrated with him, too. You're definitely not alone.

I became an expert at using the bathroom while nursing dd1. It's like a new mommy badge.
Just reading through the three pages! Ahhh! Little Ant does not find you guys all that exciting, as his irritation meter has been going up. (He flails and kicks one leg and one arm. It's funny )
I love my dh! I'm working mornings this week and next before I switch positions at work and go to working 6pm to midnight. The five hours I'm gone is still too much for the little guy, but we live so close that instead of making me pump at work, dh just brings him the mile to work so I can nurse him. Best break from work ever!
Irritation meter is again kicking away so I'll try to come back and respond! That and the twins are toooo quiet. ~worries~
DD1 is currently napping and I'm stuck on the couch under a sleeping DD2 (which, omg my heart melts b/c it brings me back to the days of dd1 as a newborn). Our 1st Dr appt for dd2 was this morning; she's only down about 5.5% from her birth weight (& still weighs more than DD1 did at birth) and my milk came in last night so I'm feel awesome about that. Thank god H is home for so long b/c I still cannot wrap my head around how anyone can take care of a toddler and a newborn (+ 2 stupid freaking dogs) alone. I'm terrified of the day he returns to work and I have to also find a way to work 20 hours a week from home (the dogs are the hardest part..anyone want them?).
DD1 had a meltdown at dinner last night b/c I gave her milk and said no to juice (she gets pear and/or prune juice daily for constipation issues/prevention), which ended with me in tears too b/c I was convinced the meltdown was b/c she hates me for bringing home another baby. While the hormones aren't as bad this time around (yet..), postpartum hormones are a bitch! I'm going to buy tequila later today so I can enjoy my first margarita in forever. *cue happy dance*
TL;DR - DD2 had a great Dr appt, dogs are annoying, so are pp hormones, and yay tequila!
@priss08, that makes me so happy to hear. Go you for finding the way to talk to your Dr. I hope the meds and therapist are what you need to start feeling better! ((Hugs))

kaits8 I know how you feel with the older child acting out and feeling guilty. We are dealing with that now with one of ours. Hopefully that is an isolated incident and she transitions just fine!
We went out last night to a restaurant and I got a drink. First one in forever and it was delicious
I got my score back from my big licensing/board exam and am very excited about it It is very decent and will not stop me from going pretty much anywhere (although obviously there are a lot of other factors too when applying to residency programs)

kaits8 get someone to exercise the dogs - dog walker, neighborhood kid to play with them, someone. Tired dogs = happy dogs. You could even get them doggie back packs so they have a "job" of carrying them, even just around the house.
Whoa, having a lot of cramping and pressure. My doctor said baby wasn't low (even though the MW said he was low on Friday) but I feel like he may have dropped since the membrane sweep. Suddenly my sacrum/pelvis/lower back is full of pressure that wasn't there this morning.
Not having contractions really, just consistent cramping and baby moving a ton.
jnow, hope those contractions come back tonight. Maybe your LO is just waiting for mine to catch up? #birthdaytwins

I am starving today. I need to figure out some healthy snacks because Golden Oreos are probably not the wisest choice but they are so easy to grab in the motn.
