Yay danib!! I was crossing my crossalbles for you, I must have worked! That picture of C and H is just too cute! Hopefully they have cute sleepovers like that for years to come!
Last night I was reading a book to DS about the ABC's and he repeated every letter after me! W was a little rough, but the rest were clear as day! Between that and now saying I lub you Mama, my heart is melting. My little boy is growing up!
Stay safe starbuck27. I was checking the temperature on my phone app and your area popped up saying severe weather, tornadoes, etc (it's the Weather Channel one so I see national weather news). Hope it's not as bad as they're predicting. We were supposed to have a really bad storm Sunday, but despite the multiple tornado warnings (radar indicated winds), it ended up not being that bad.
waitwhat We have a double stroller. If I had known Lilah wasn't going to like the stroller, I might have gotten a side by side umbrella stroller. We have a tandem that the carseat clicks into. 100% needed with two imo once the baby is too big to wear. Lillian is too much of a flight risk for no stroller. Plus, she enjoys it still. I might sell my tandem and get a side by side umbrella actually. We will sell the travel system once Lilah turns 1 and we move her to a convertible, but we do have 2 running strollers since we both run and I'm NOT running with 2.
We are at Lillian's dance class. Had a pretty rough night between that book and a couple of nightmares (choking and DH divorcing me). Lilah slept great, of course. But I feel pretty good since I've had a shower, a good breakfast, and 2 cups of tea.
We have a guy coming out to show us how to use the water softener system. Hoping to get that up and running quickly. I'm tired of having hard water. We might go to Target this afternoon to look at highchairs and preschool stuff. Oh and pants for me.
Lilah hanging out during Lillian's ballet class.
Eta: can you guys tell her hair is starting to get lighter? Looks like she'll end up blonde like Lillian!
waitwhat as close as your boys are in age, I'd definitely get a double! I held off when I was pregnant bc I wasn't sure when B would age out if the stroller. Now at almost 3.5, he still prefers to walk, however! He will ride in the stroller much more happily bc C is in one, too.
Could you borrow one from a friend who isn't using it to try it out for a couple weeks? Maybe then your H would see its usefulness. That is what a friend of mine did (she was also wavering) and ended up buying her own.
I'm still holding off but every time I try to go to the mall or somewhere solo with both kids, I seriously consider stopping at BuyBuyBaby on my way home.

waitwhat, what about a sit and stand double stroller? We haven't bought one yet, but will soon. DS1 likes the stroller still but he also like walking next to it, too. He can only walk for so long before his legs get tired, so I think the sit and stand kind is a good option.
starbuck27 be safe! I hate those tornado sirens, we had them in KS and even the drills made me nervous.
B had a pedi appt this morning to address his snoring, we dropped off the dry cleaning, and now we're back home waiting for the dryer vent guy. #myglamorouslife
Stay safe starbuck27! I hope the aquarium goes over well, I'd love to take M to one sometime this summer.
That picture is killing me danib. Seeing stuff like that makes me think that maybe one sat I can be convinced to try for another. So happy your H is finally coming home. Is that spa appt booked?
Would hug him and eat him up waitwhat!! Does your stroller have the ability to add a rumble seat or ride along board? I'm still shocked at the prices of strollers. It really doesn't compute.
Good onesie choice cheshie6!! IIRC your H is a Boston fan? Thumbs down.
ClassyMrsA I've fallen into the scary book trap. The worst. My imagination cannot handle that stuff. I hope you love your water conditioner system. I need to get someone out to look at ours because it's definitely not working like it should.

waitwhat, that's my thought as well. DS1 loves riding on the back of the shopping cart, so I think he'll enjoy a sit and stand type stroller. He's also getting a little too tall for our regular stroller. He'll still sit in it, but he doesn't have a ton of room for his legs anymore.

crap. My kid is tall as well. But I don't think he's anywhere near ready to stand. I don't trust him.
It might just be our stroller. I actually use a jogging stroller as our main one because I like it better. He still fits in it at 3ft 5in tall, but I can tell it won't last him too much longer.

Work is crazy this morning. Dumbass backup left a bunch of critical things open for me and I'm being bombarded with people asking me when it will be done. Unfortunately it's a pain in the ass and requires a lot of copy/pasting, calculating things and entering it all into one document X3 because I have 3 programs. Thank god for Excel.
And since he's been throwing shit over the wall to me, I tried to make a joke with him by forwarding a meeting (that really did sound like something a "technical specialist" would be involved in) and I even added a winky face. He had the nerve to tell me not to get him invited to meetings like that and copied his job description. I don't think I could have rolled my eyes any harder.

Does anyone have any shape wear recs? I'm still rocking the maternity pants, but they're getting way too loose and baggy (yay!) but my tummy is still soft and flabby and I can't fit into my pre-pregnancy pants yet (boo!).
