We are taking our first non- medical outing with baby to Starbucks and Target! I'm nursing in the car as we speak, drinking a chai latte, before venturing in to buy all.the.things. 🙂
... it's 11am and I finally have all of the people taken care of.. for the moment. Of course, little peanut will be hungry soon again. ~facepalm~
The twins have colds.. trying to keep two three-year-olds busy away from the baby is.. interesting? The two teens and we parents should be buying stock in hand sanitizer with the way we are using it
Yay for those who got good sleep!
Congrats to jnow and mosdub! Unmedicated, mosdub? Egads, woman. I wanted to with my two vaginal births, but my ex-husband couldn't stand seeing me in pain and talked me into epidurals >< Congrats to you and brave!
I sent a message to my dh a few minutes again.. "What a night.." he responded with "... yeah." Between one of the twins being up off and on all night unable to breath easily.. and little peanut deciding to go back to every two hours.. we are both beat ><
moutonrouge, this time can be soo hard on a marriage. From someone who seems to always be in chaos with a large household, the one thing I can suggest is take time for a date night. It is so vital to have that one on one time. Even if you have to hire a babysitter for a few hours.
missi I only was able to go without the epidural because my labor was short. I made a deal with myself after an hour of horrible contractions if I hadn't moved much from a 4 I would get an epidural. At next check I was at 8 and in transition, so I knew I was close! Def no judgement for anyone who goes epi route- this birth stuff is like nothing else

Yeah.. mine were shorter.. and I felt no contractions until my water was broken.. my ex caved after me being in pain for five minutes.. no joke. Part of the reason I was so upset about the last two pregnancies having to be c-section. >< Ah well.. I'm done! As much as I love my kids.. I hate pregnancy, and we sure as heck cannot afford to grow out of this size of apartment where we live
Congrats mosdub! Yay for all the March babies being out (I think?)! MIL came over today and watched the little guy so I could go to preschool with DD. I think she really loved having my undivided attention because she kept leading me everywhere and saying "come on bubble" (yes, she calls me bubble). It was really nice to have the time with her. Now she's napping and I'm snuggled on the couch with DS, waiting for him to want to eat again. I should use this time to feed myself but instead I'm catching up here. I'm starting to get a little freaked out that DH has a work trip in a couple weeks where he'll be gone from sat-fri. I'm not ready to be home by myself with a baby and a toddler for that amount of time. 😩

Well my Keurig is fucked. I just de-scaled it on feb and it said to do it again. I filled it full of vinegar and it's not even running the vinegar through.
No coffee while having a newborn and toddler is what nightmares are made of.
