My showers are in one week! Then we will have most everything we need/know what we need to buy ourselves! We are also unpacking the baby room this weekend and starting to set it up!!!
I also got my completion discount from Amazon. Although we'll be ordering most things from target because the price is better.. But still reminding me I'm already 30 weeks and we have nothing ready. Not even close.

I was just coming here to say this! So crazy that we are this close!! I feel you in the nothing ready part! This weekend I am hoping to unpack what we do have for the nursery!
My belly has drastically lowered the past couple days and I'm having other weird labor "signs" that I didn't have until much later in my other pregnancies. It's freaking me out a little bit and making me wonder if this kid will be a bit early.

violetrose hopefully baby hangs in there a bit longer! My kid is still doing gymnastics so I feel like my belly is different every day. It's lower overall though than my first, which I hope means a speedier labor.
We just spend all of yesterday getting things ready for baby. DH and I both had a few days off so this wasa our best chance to get things ready. We rearranged our existing space to make room for baby stuff, including setting up the crib, another dresser, and the changing table. DD is SOOOO excited. She was giving my MIL a tour basically, since a lot of the changes were in her room since they will be sharing. She keeps asking to sleep in the crib lol DH made a comment along the lines of being all ready for baby now, except for still needing to set up the co-sleeper. That definitely made it feel very real to hear it from him saying "we're ready." So crazy!

Today I located and washed all the newborn clothes, car seat cover, etc so it can get out in the dresser I also set up the co sleeper just to make sure it fits our new bed and such.
Someone from our hospital called yesterday to go over everything. Yikes.

The MA that checked me in for my OB appointment last Thursday asked if I had my hospital bag together. Nope, I figure I still have 8 weeks before she is likely to come. Now I'm feeling a little behind and like I need to have everything all ready right now in case she decides to come early! Anyone else getting this feeling?
trebletrouble13 - I took off work for most of the day so I could do some projects at home. I realized as of Wednesday we're only NINE weeks from my EDD, and that has me slightly panicking.

Yes! I realized I need to start seriously thinking about labor preparation and setting things up for the baby (I figured I had lots of time and just stuck things on shelves up until now...) Only 7 more weeks until baby is expected!
I have seven weeks from today. I really need to make a list so I can see everything that needs to be done in one place.
I just started a list yesterday for this same reason! I'm sure I'll keep adding to it, but it makes me feel like I have a place to put tasks as I think of them.
Well we just had our first pre-eclampsia scare for this baby. I saw fireworks while I was in the shower. After a phone call to the OB, I was told to head in. Everything came back fine/normal, but made me realize that baby girl might be here much sooner than we expected.
Me: 29 DH: 35 NTNP since May 2013 charting since June 2014 dx: Graves disease (radioactive iodine), Crohns disease (abdominal surgeries) MMC October 2015 (9 weeks) Severe MFI diagnosis July 2015
teachermomtobe I'm with you! I'm 34 weeks tomorrow, so my OB tells me that average gestation for twins is 36 weeks and while I'd be induced at 38 weeks, not to place any bets on going that far. I DONT want to be pregnant for 4 more weeks but on the other hand, cannot imagine babies here in only 2 weeks.

Thanks ladies!! In a way I feel like a ticking time bomb, like I just know it's going to happen all over again. (HELLP/pre-eclampsia) I do not expect to make my scheduled c-section due to above, just don't know how early it will be. My in laws will be in Switzerland may 18-30, I'm guessing that will be the time I have her. DH was super surprised I wasn't put on bed rest because of this. Maybe if something happens again in the near future. But since urine sample and 2 bp readings came back fine there was no reason to. (And baby girls heart rate was perfect.)
sabrinaml, I'm in the same boat. Had pre-e with dd and am terrified it will happen again. I had elevated proteins after my 24 hour, and then some crazy high bp readings last night. Went to l&d around 11pm and did 20 or so readings and everything looked great. They said to get a new bp monitor for home. Totally fine but I'm beyond anxious now and I'm at home.
lindsay, I'm 33 weeks on Saturday and 5 weeks from scheduled c section. Everyday is getting tougher !
starsandshamrocks123 - Hopefully no insurance issues! I got the same one! My friend uses it and loves it.
They got me a little worried about the replacement parts! I thought there was a way to use the medela ones interchangeably but I don't know all of this stuff yet
