If I remember correctly, eptopic fears are high betas with an empty uterus. I'm so sorry Pgal is hitting you so hard. Sending you hugs until your ultrasound.
Thank you. Maybe that was what I was confusing. I'm surprised that my OB wants me in for an US at 5 weeks, but maybe that is why. Wed can't come soon enough

I would try to not worry too much about the number - there is such a wide range of normal with betas. My first beta at 15 dpo with this pregnancy was around 900 and I have just one healthy little girl cooking. I have seen numerous people with twins have lower betas than me. EPs typically have low betas that don't double appropriately (eta they rise too slowly).

Hi ladies. Some of you might know me from my first loss nearly 3 years ago. We had our rainbow in N15. In November of this year we were surprised and excited to get a bfp since it took all together 21 months and an RE to get Pregnant with DD. All was going well until at 11 weeks I started spotting and there was no longer a heartbeat. We were devastated again. We were benched one cycle and started trying again.
Much to my surprise, here we are again! I never test early, but had some nausea and the GKU girls were bad influences. I got a squinter on 10 dpo, but hadn't checked in the timeframe because I thought it was negative. Tested Friday and got a line. My OB is running betas (1st was 93) and I rerun Monday. I have to be on lovenox again this pregnancy and he is adding suppository progesterone too.
I'm not going to introduce on a bmb for awhile because it sucks leaving, so will you guys hold me here?!

I'm sorry I missed your post about your betas! I agree with grneyes. I didn't have mine taken on 14, but based on the numbers from 13 and 15, they would have been in the mid/high-300s (so well over that 200 is the high healthy mark). Both my pregnancy with my daughter and this pregnancy I had very quick doubling - about 31 hours - until the levels were over 1K, and then it slowed considerably.

Thanks. Blob in the right spot.

Holy shit it is so hard to entertain a toddler for 90 mins; we were in meltdown central by the time he came to do the US. I might insist on spilling the beans to ILs so they can help during appts.

Glad to hear the ultrasound went well and baby is in the right spot! FWIW, 483 sounds perfectly normal to me for a second beta. 100 is the minimum they usually want at 14 DPO, but again there is a such a wide range. I would take the strong betas as a good sign.
Me (37) + DH (39) BFP #1: DS born July 2011 BFPs #2,3,4,5: Four losses from Nov 2013-Nov 2014. Yeah, that sucked. BFP #6: 1/5/15 - Rainbow baby boy born 9/16/15
