I think I got max 3 hours of sleep last night. Between the toddler falling out of his bed, talking in his sleep and general pregnancy insomnia, I was not ready for my alarm this morning at 5:45.
+1. I had already been awake for a few hours when my alarm went off, but I did not want to get out of bed. It's definitely a coffee kind of day.

Nothing says "great day at work" quite like coughing so hard you puke all over the toilet/wall and peeing your pants at the same time does. So over being sick. I've had some variation of a cold/sinus infection for ELEVEN WEEKS!!! Today was clearly the highlight.
No!! I hope you got to go straight home after that. No one should have to work after something like that.
Unfortunately not. We were already short on staff and extremely busy.
I am down to every 3 weeks appointments from every 4, how is this happening already? I feel like I went to every 2 weeks at this point with my girls but this is a new OB and a very low risk pregnancy.
My doctor started me on every 2 weeks. I'm not sure why but ugh.
I don't start every 2 weeks until 32 weeks and then every week at 36. My apologies to those of you starting every 2 already.

Hey guys! Sorry for being gone a few days. I've been crazy busy with A's party on Saturday then his birthday yesterday. Today we had gymnastics then well visits for C and A. C had her 4 year shots and she didn't even cry! A's party was fantastic. He had a blast. Here's a family picture from the party.
I just had the best spicy chicken nachos from Qdoba and now I want to take a nap. Though I should probably go raid the work first aid cabinet for antacid as the heartburn is inevitable!

Crisco Salad those dreams must suck! You must be feeling overwhelmed thinking how you are going to manage 3 little ones. Lunch with your hubby must have been so nice. And crab cakes...YUM!!
xxjen015 you are too sweet for what you said on the last thread! I hope you are feeling better today.
murran13 have fun with the extra kiddo. How is the sharing going? I hope today is better than yesterday afternoon.
@pianolove the zoo sounds so fun. I wish we were closer to ours. It's like and hour and a half away. We only go like 3 times a year. Have fun on Friday.
khopec yes to being done with non maternity tops! Yesterday I wore a shirt just around the house that fit fine last week not so much now. Also, the same with an undershirt I'm wearing today.
Tgrrl oh my goodness your day yesterday sounds horrible! I'm so sorry. I hope that doesn't happen again. Also, 11 weeks is too long with that mess!
I'm not even sure when I'll start every 2 weeks. I'm thinking more towards 30 weeks though.
Ugh. I failed the 1 hour glucose test. I should've just asked to do the 3 hour. Now my one and only free day next week is going to be spent doing this. Yuck.

Boo! I'm going for the 3 hour tomorrow. Super not excited. She did tell me they have a bed for me to nap on in between blood draws though.
You guys. I made 3 dozen sugar cookies, fried chicken, smashed baked potatoes and a cucumber salad. AND cleaned my kitchen. I think that's the most productive I've been for months.

Today DS refused, like flat out refused to get on the bus to go to school, so he didn't go. I don't even know why because he gets so excited to take the bus and he loves school but this morning when he saw the bus he started screaming "no bus!" and crying and refused to get on or let the assistant put his bus harness on. So he stayed home with DH while I went to class. Thank goodness DH works from home.
I am going to take my glucose test on Friday, blech. And my midwife is starting me every other week at 28 weeks.

A bed!!! I'm jealous!! I have to watch the clock and go tell them when I need to be drawn, takes away the relaxing part of it. I'm more nervous this time, as my level last time was only a point over failing, this time was over 30 over. I guess it at least wasn't an automatic fail.
At my appt last week we discussed not going past 39 weeks. I think I am definitely having another June baby. I was kind of counting on that anyways with my history and being #3, but now I think it's pretty much confirmed.
I just went pee and had some light, brown spotting. I haven't spotted at all this pregnancy. I'm trying to decide if I should go ahead and message my doctors office or wait until I go again and see if it's gone and message them if it's not.
I just got to the lab to take my 3 hour glucose test. I went to the window and the lady said "a tech called in sick and we are really busy so it'll be a little while before we can even give you the drink" and I started crying. Like an idiot. (Like a pregnant lady who only slept three hours and has already been fasting for 12 hours). I'm so annoyed.
xxjen015, definitely contact your doctor if you're worried. Spotting could be from sex, exercise, a difficult BM, or just general irritation from pregnancy. I'd give it some time and see if it's still there then next time I went.

it's been an hour since you posted, so I hope you have had the drink now! If not give me their number so I can call and yell at them for you. NOOOOT COOOOOOL LAB!

It took them 30 minutes but they did bring me back. The "bed" they promised is a hard chair that reclines in this small room. I turned out the lights to try and nap but I'm way too nauseous/cold/uncomfortable. I get my second blood draw in 2 mins. Only two more hours until I can eat.

Sorry it sucks so much. It'll all be over soon! (This is remarkably similar to the "pep talk" I just gave my Calculus class before their test. LOL)

I texted my medical assistant. It didn't happen again but I was feeling like a ball of nerves. They didn't seem concerned, but are fitting me in at 3 for an ultrasound for reassurance. I'm so thankful they understand! And I definitely won't turn down an opportunity to see my baby boy.
