Yes let's! This one refuses to take any naps today unless I'm continuously rocking her. She does not do this at night. Admittedly it's very bright in the nursery so that might be part of the problem.
Until she was 9.5 months Ridley took about 5-6 naps a day, no set schedule just up for an hour down for an hour until about 5p, then a 7-8p bedtime. Then all of a sudden she went down to three and put herself on a schedule (up at 6-7, down 8-10, 12-1, and 3-4). That lasted about 2 weeks and now this week she's already down to two naps (9-10 and 12-1 or 2)!
Lately she won't fall asleep nursing in bed like we used to, so I've given up even trying. She nurses on the couch then I rock her to sleep. But since we're not in bed and only taking two naps, I don't get any naps during the day anymore and it sucks.

Do you plan to get black out curtains?
I had not originally. I thought I wanted them to learn to nap when it's not perfectly dark. But I also want them to nap in their room so I can do other things around the house without waking them. So I think I'll find blackout curtains to make it darker in there.

You could always go somewhere in the middle and just darken it slightly. I was the same way wanting her to be able to sleep in the light. She did fine for the first couple months, but lately she's got serious fomo and won't wind down unless it's dark and silent.

R is a horrible napper. All naps are in someone's arms or in his swing (which thankfully doesn't max out until 25lbs). And even then I generally only get 2 a day half hour naps out of him while my mom and MIL will get 1-2 hours when they watch him.
You'll get there. Have you tried bouncing on an exercise ball or sitting in the bathroom with the shower on? Those were about the only things, besides food, that would put R to sleep in the early days. And being worn.
