Hi guys! I'd love to be a part of this board if you'll have me! (: I've been a long-term lurker of many of the loss boards and thought I'd get my toes wet so to speak.
A bit about me:
I am 34 years old and also live on the West Coast (PNW to be more exact) and so I always feel like I miss out on all of the action but I'd like to at least try to keep up on this board. I enjoy baking/cooking, being outside (bocce and badminton FTW!), and reading--just finished the Rosie Project and it was enjoyable.
A bit about my TTCAL journey:
In March 2016 after two ultrasounds and several blood draws I learned that we lost our pregnancy (should have been 8 weeks, was measuring about 6). I opted for a natural miscarriage, which took several weeks and ended up being quite traumatic (including an insane amount of blood loss, passing out in Target, and a trip to the ED for IV fluids--all while my H was out of town for work).
My H and I have been trying without success since May 2016. I am struggling pretty hard with knowing it's almost been a year minus a few attempts that my H was of town for work. I'm just at the point where I want to get pregnant so badly but it feels like more of a chore as the months go by. Also, I am on the TWW right now and I know that not only did I not get my 2016 baby, but 2017 is likely off the plate now too. Ugh.
I'm so sorry we are all here but so grateful for this board and the support that everyone provides to each other.
