I'm home sick today. I've been thinking I have allergies but now I think it's a bad cold. Last night I coughed so hard I threw up. Bleh. Hoping a day of mostly rest will cure me. At some point a tow company is supposed to call me and I have to meet them at our car with the title— we decided to donate it to charity. A lot of them take wrecked cars and salvage them/ sell the parts. Free towing for us plus a tax write off is a win.
I am over this day already. In a not so good mood at work and it's getting worse. Glad I am planning to get to the gym tonight, hopefully work it out before I am home with people that don't deserve my attitude.
Hiiiii! How is everyone?! I'm so looking forward to seeing some of you next month!! We're doing good here! Jake is getting so big! All of our babies are! They're little people now! Big news here is that we're TTC! All of the tests went great, I'm apparently super fertile. So if my follicles look good we'll inseminate next Wednesday or Thursday!
th3stryck3r, feel better! I donated my car to Kars for Kids when it was way past its prime. The value was only like $500, but a tax write off is a tax write off!
I've never lived in a place I had to file city taxes.
A tells me her vagina hurts every single time I change her diaper. The first time it happened, it did look irritated, so I put diaper cream on her. This was almost a month ago and she still says it every time. I try not to make a big deal "yes, and mama put cream on it and made it better", but when will it stop? It's part of her routine now.

Never. I am seriously impressed she says vagina. A (my almost 4 yo) thought everything down there was her booty butt (term from dc, not me). I used to ask her the front butt or the back butt. She now tells me she has a penis. MOTY right here....

The bus dropped s1 off 20-25 min early. That's fine but I'd like to know because 1. What if I'm running an errand and not home. Are you just going to leave him? 2. I keep him on a pretty strict schedule. Meaning lunch is on the table when he gets off the bus so that there is zero transition time.
Today I was on the middle of changing Ethan's poopy diaper when the bus pulled up.
This isn't the first time this has happened and I hate to complain because this bus company is so nicer than the one last year. But it's frustrating. One day he was so early and I didn't notice. He had to ring the doorbell. Another time I had just gotten out of the shower about 5 min prior because I thought I had time

I should add, that I try real hard to be home by 12:00 if I'm out and about in case he gets home early. His school day ends at noon so he should never be here at that early.

@janetheconquerer I'm surprised the daycare wouldn't use the correct terms. We recently had a discussion in my early childhood class regarding sexuality and starting early with keeping it age appropriate. The idea being that it will make the sex conversation more comfortable when they are older. Calling the body parts by their actual names was a big one.
hiimjamie, good luck!!!!!! We are TTC as well. FX we can be BMB buddies again.
Yayyyy!! That would be awesome!! FX! The FB group is full of pregnant ladies so some of them might be on the same BMB too! We're quite the fertile bunch LOL

@runningmomm519, 20 minutes early is a lot! Are they consistently leaving school at the same time? It sounds like they might be leaving early sometimes.

Two kids who get dropped off before him were gone today. He's the last to get dropped off. So his bus ride is usually pretty long.
@janetheconquerer the teachers at daycare say that, or her friends? John has picked up some less than wonderful habits from the other kids at preschool. Like sucking his thumb. Really, kid??
runningmommy519, I've heard it's important to use the real terms too because it makes reporting sexual abuse better? easier? If kids can call their parts the right name.
