Please let the doc say that DS will grow in his own time and we shouldn't be worried and have to start to consider daily hormone injections. We are all late bloomers so hopefully that is the case. We really can't take much more.
praying for good news for you! We're supposed to make an appointment for the GH deficiency test for this summer. I haven't made it yet because...I don't want to.
I hear you. Dr. Google has success and tales of caution stories. Plus, giving a kid a shot a day. I just don't even want to deal with it. DS is adamant he is not doing it, and Dh keeps rambling on about how he didn't grow until 16 and kept on after high school. They keep telling me if it wasn't for my height, they wouldn't even be considering it. Its the first time in my life I wished I was shorter.

I'm short and they're still considering it. I guess it depends on HOW short your kid looks like he's going to be. I think I've mentioned my 22 year old nephew that is 4ft 9inches...I don't want to do shots either, though. And I don't want to do shots and tell him it's to help him grow.

Worst case for him they are predicting 5'7", which is not totally abnormal, just not average for a male and the fact that I am 5'9" and DH is close to 6 ft.
