ars093s Chopped chilis?? Did not know this was a thing, now I'm super curious though!
They say there's no "secret" menu, but I feel like I always hear people ordering something I didn't know about. Chopped chilis just adds hot peppers to the burger. If you like spicy, it takes it over the top.
Has anyone else been incredibly irritated? Like PMS on steroids?! I feel like I'm losing my patience so much easier, and the stupidest things annoy me. I need a zen moment. Even a trip to my happy place, Target, didn't help today!

I feel like this at night since DS hasn't been sleeping well lately.. I'm so exhausted and cranky.

This. Exactly. We are on a nap strike and it's killing me. By the time bed time finally rolls around, everyone is crabby!
I feel so greasy, pimply, and bloated all the time now. Anyone else?
Yes! My hair is greasy and I've had a pimple the past few days. It was honesty the thing that was different about me that made me think I might actually be pregnant. With my first pregnancy my boobs grew overnight, with my second I felt a strong revulsion to sex the day before I tested and this time I looked like a greasy teenager!
I'm for sure going to in n out tomorrow because I never knew of these chopped chilis! Also, today is tax day, hallelujah! I get the rest of this week off after a brutal tax season and I'm so excited to just sit and relax and enjoy time with DH and DD. DH had lasik surgery last night so he has the next few days off too.
I am so over progesterone suppositories. I was running late and had to walk to the train (one car family, husband usually drives me on his way to drop L at daycare). My suppository has definitely almost come out and is now uncomfortably/painfully positioned and I can't fix it (or whatever is left of it) for 30 minutes until I get into the office. Womp womp.

Oh no I'm sorry.
They have you do yours during the day rather than before bed?
I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to give up my (decaf) coffee soon. I just cannot drink it before it gets cold. And it has tasted different since I got pregnant.

I hate those things! I (TMI alert) hate the feeling that I'm starting my period when the stupid thing melts.
notelsie - I do both - 200 mg in the AM and 400 mg in the PM.
rooskie - I'm on compounded suppositories. You go to a special pharmacy and they make them up. It's a little torpedo-shaped suppository, and as Waffles said, it feels totally gross as it melts and leaks out. I end up using a pad AND a folded paper towel that I then toss after it's melted. They make my skin super irritated too. But they worked with my daughter, and hopefully will work with this pregnancy too!
This seemed so appropriate to me today, because I have the constant queasies. Much like if I were a hungover-20-something, I just went to get tots and a cheesesteak grilled cheese AND a mac and cheese for later from a spot that has all of that GF. I feel glutinous and less queasy.
Lots of work that I need to get back to. Can't wait for your scan update later, rooskie !
While I didn't spend too much of my 20s hungover--it's the perfect descriptor for how I'm feeling today. Not super sick, but just sort of off and since the neighbor's dogs spent most of the night barking, I'm tired too. I'm really just ready for this day to be over.

+1 do you have the pink dye ones? I do and it seriously looks like I'm spotting every time. Talk about a mind fuck. I'm used to it now, but it took some adjusting.
@officedronette - that sounds awful. FX they work.
Mine is seriously just like a tampon with goo in it. I'll keep it.
I switched to the tampon with goo in it for this pregnancy and it is by far my favorite! Oral progesterone gave me hives for some reason and the suppositories are awful. Luckily my new insurance didn't cover them so I had to switch to crinone. I was upset at first but now I'm super glad!

This was one of my major signs of this pregnancy: I couldn't tolerate my usual coffee! It makes me so sad that it tastes so different and I'm not loving it like I used to. I guess it's better this way, less caffeine and all, but my local Starbucks is going to wonder what happened to me.
What are you guys doing about caffeine these days? I know they say a small amount is okay, but I'm a weirdo and now that I know I'm pregnant, I find myself straying from it. I need something so bad though. I'm dragging. Any other natural energy remidies/ideas?
cutay - I'm no help on cutting it out. I quit caffeine a few months ago. I still drink a pop 2-3 times a week (usually when eating fast food) but I always wake up with a small headache the next day.
When I'm feeling tired at work I try to get up and walk around.

cutay I'm not a coffee drinker, but before I found out I was pregnant I was drinking Monster energy drinks or 5 hr energies and some days both (I know not good for me). I stopped cold turkey when I found out and had a major headache for a few days but now I have what feels like just normal first tri fatigue. I think I'm such a caffeine fiend that I have to just give it up or I'll overdo it!
cutay - the research indicates that up to 200mg is safe to consume, so I'll have an unsweetened iced tea, or a small cup of coffee (4 oz). When I'm not knocked up I drink Diet Coke, but I try to respect my progeny more than I respect myself and kick the habit because that stuff is supposed to be horrid for you and I feel guilty drinking it pregnant.

cutay, I haven't had any coffee since my bfp but that's largely because it just hasn't sounded good. I think I'm comfortable drinking a cup a day if it doesn't disagree with my stomach, but that could be my naive first-time pregnant lady thinking.

Okay, I love that you said "pop". Where are you from? I'm from Minnesota! When we moved down south, everyone looked at me like I had 3 heads when I said pop!

I'm from IN. Most people say Coke or soda here. I say either soda or pop. I think my sister picked up pop when she went to college in northern Indiana and I got it from her.
