So she's stable and out of OR. Turns out she had, and I quote the ENT, "an arterial pumper." Don't think I will get the image of my little baby covered in blood out of my head anytime soon. Thank god she's ok now.
ourcrazynavylife No experience yet, but I'm hoping it gets better for you. That means it will for me when the time comes. sgio7485 Boo AF. kcrus Oh my dear Lord. I hope things start to calm down for you over there. I'm not so sure I would be as sane as you. nemomof2 Please do not feel the guilt at all. We've had our own ER visit. We were visiting my parents and DD somehow got a hold of my mom's weekly pill case. We managed to count all the pills but one, a niacin supplement. We didn't know if she took it, the dog ate it, it went under the couch, couldn't find it anywhere. I felt so bad it happened under my watch, and my parents. My mom jokingly reminded me that when I was a toddler, my grandmother left out her nitro glycerin pills and I took one of those. (My mom also has the keys I stuck in the electrical socket and I have a scar on my forehead from walking under a McDonald's slide back in the day when they were made of metal.)
Update: We have since found the missing pill, but I still feel terrible that it happened at all.
Had another Dr appt last Friday. 1 cm dilated, lots of movement (I compare myself to Sigourney Weaver in Alien a lot.), and now it's starting to hurt to walk. Yesterday, DH would not stop complaining about how much his back hurts. I finally turned to him and said, "Oh yeah?! Well my vagina hurts!" He didn't really know how to take that lol.
Bought stuff for my herb garden yesterday, and I am excited. It will be nice to have my own garden that I can control. Last year, I used my IL's raised garden beds, but FIL turned off the sprinkler system early and didn't tell me. All the plants died, including my "almost ready to harvest" tomatillos and 4 different kinds of tomatoes. I planted late, and to have the water cut off early, was a big let down. I also bought a blackberry bush... Mmmm...
Nothing else going on here. Baby watch 2017 has begun this week, and everyone is on notice the baby could arrive any day. We have 3 friends in town we can call for help, and both our parents are a little over an hour away. Yesterday, my mom told me I had to figure out how to get DD up to her before going to the hospital to give birth. I told her I'm not going over 2 hours out of my way to drop off DD if I'm on my way to the hospital and my water broke. I think she got upset, but I find that to be a ridiculous request. Priorities, man!
