1. Inlaws come on Friday. It will be a good weekend, but they leave Monday morning and h leaves Monday afternoon. I will be stuck with emotional toddler.
2. Enough with the teeth already, baby! Take a break. He burst into tears while I was holding him; that's not normal.
3. H and I have an obligation Saturday and I think we're going to try leaving both kids with grandma and grandpa. Ds won't take a bottle, but he'll survive, right?
1. I guess I didn't sleep well last night. I feel like shit.
2. Work is stressing me out but I got some semi-good news today after a bomb was dropped on me yesterday.
3. The baby is refusing his bottle and isn't nursing great. I think it's teething. But this morning my boobs were going to explode so I'm like shoving these water balloons in his face "take the damn tit, kid!" and made him more upset.
4. DS1 woke up and thought he was going to Nana and Papa's today (they watch the kids on Weds) and it broke his little heart to hear he needed to wait another day. Then when I dropped him off at DC he clung to me saying "help me!" and whimpering. It was sad.
I can relate to shoving an exploding boob in a babies face.
1) I got 3 things ticked off my to-do list today and my friend possibly wants to take a bunch of the furniture we are not taking. 2) above friend voluntold her H he's babysitting our 2 toddlers Saturday lunchtime so we can go out for lunch. She's bringing the 11mo with her, and it will be glorious to not eat with an overly opinionated little person 3) After a hell day on Sunday, DS was so pleasant to be with yesterday.
I try to do a fun thing to give the kids in keeping with the theme of the party. First year was Sesame Street so I gave a Sesame Street placemat and the book "The monster at the end of this book"
This year theme is Unicorns and Rainbows because that's what 3 year olds are all about lol 😋 I am making a stuffed Unicorn head like a horse on wooden stick for kids to ride. Only 4 kids are coming so easy to do.
DS get's no party this year. He will have only been at his new daycare 1 week and we know nobody. Last year he had 3 friends over for a playdate with cake. We will probably not do parties until he is in kindergarten and I hate goody bags, but we all know i'm a gift hating party pooper anyway so no surprise there.

My favorite parting gift at a birthday party was a big ball (size of a kick ball). We actually have been able to play with that. At a party a couple weeks ago they let my kid bring home a bag of fake bugs (they look real). It's my most hated party favor ever. Ds loves his "bugs." I told the mother I hated that she gave him bugs. That was a little rude of me...I said it light hearted, but I meant it.

This reminds me I haven't shared MIL's latest wacky gift. When I opened it during the birthday party, I could feel the WTF coming from everyone. Lol. The girls won't go near it.
Thanks =). I have 0 ideas or anything to work with at this point. I mean, he's (almost) 10 months old. He doesn't "like" anything specific that could be turned into a theme.

What about a beach ball/summer theme? You could set up a kid pool/slip-n-slide/sprinkler in your back yard for the kids to play on. Beach balls for decorations (and party favors), beach ball cake/cupcakes/cake pops.
DD got invited to two birthday parties this weekend on Sunday. Probably not going to make it to both and they're both close friends. Now I feel bad that we're not inviting friends to her birthday. She wants pink so I'm just doing pink stuff. Maybe some day I'll find a way to be cute. footloose, do you have a pic of one of these unicorn horse things?! Sounds so cute!
1. Went to the dentist yesterday, 4 cavities but apparently had not been in two years??? Still trying to figure out how that's accurate. 2. Our next two weekends are busy and I have so much to do before DDs party. Doing a taco bar and adding sangria, thanks ladies! 3. Currently sitting outside daycare and relaxing since I got off work early. DH is at home but would rather sit in silence after today.
