C waves occasionally, but clapping is her favorite. She loves to watch Wheel of Fortune and she claps every time the audience claps. LOL The only one whose name I am sure she knows is the dog's. If you say the dog's name she will immediately start to look around for him.

Yep pretty sure E only knows our dog's name too! And everything that moves including DH and I are "doh".
L has started furiously waving every time I get her out of the car whether there are people to wave to or not. It's so darn cute. She's like yep, hello, I'm here!

I'm becoming more and more convinced that DS's first word is cat. Well actually either "keeeeeeeeeeeee" with a high pitched squeal, or "kaakaa". He says both of these while crawling rapidly after the cats, who always manage to evade him.

He just started putting things away. Like he helped DH put socks in the laundry basket & he'll put a ball in this toy we have. He also helped DH wipe up the floor the other day. I am very much in favor or these new cleaning skills!!
Will do. I think for us it's getting on the same page and being consistent. If nothing else it may help my marriage, *lol*.
Oh that is exactly what it did do for us. Instead of arguing over what to do about the awake screaming baby at 2 am - we at least had a plan to follow. Whether it worked or not....
So the meeting was today... we start the plan Friday. It sounds like Camping Out to me. So routine is bath, feeding, then book, then pick up, sing song, put down in crib awake, turn on white noise and turn off light, say sleep phrase, and sit in chair next to crib with no eye contact and minimal soothing for as long as it takes. Do this for 3 nights then move the chair farther away, etc. She's having us do away with soothers at the same time, lovey in crib is staying. That's bedtime, then motn it's 10 mins of constant protest before going in, and being sure not to rock to sleep at this time. Sit in chair, comfort.
She said if it doesn't make it worse for your particular baby you can pick up and comfort but then put down while still awake/don't prolong it.
Naps are a bit different with time frames since it's harder for them to fall asleep then. I can share more when we get the full plan if folks are interested.
Feel free to play by play this in a new thread haha.
We switched bedtime to nursing then DW coming in and doing books and bed. She will go in her crib awake for her but if she watches me leave the room she freaks.

Doesn't help motn so far.
DW is doing the first two nights of bedtime for this very reason.
