I was getting dd a snack and the baby puffs fell out of the pantry and spilled. My solution was to put down the baby I was holding and let him clean them up. I just cleaned the floor so I'm fairly confident in its cleanliness, but I might have done it anyway.
He has not mastered crawling yet, but suddenly can army crawl across the wood floor to get puffs, so now its become a gross motor exercise.
We used my cell phone to get DS1 to crawl. That's his first video of him crawling too. A phone across the floor and him going to get it.
I think I recently shared that I got Dd to crawl with choking hazard popcorn. Pretty sure I have that on video too. This baby has a more traditional crawl than that little weirdo butt scooter.

I've been searching for a babysitter for 5/5 and I asked h to get me a number off the fridge so I could ask a 3rd sitter for availability. He asked why and I told him (in a little exasperated way) - for the work party I've been telling you about for weeks. He then reminded me we were flying to San Diego that night. I told him he was incorrect because I had written different days in my calendar and already had them approved at work. Yep turns out I was wrong. So thankful he corrected me.
unless someone else uses your phone, aren't you just eating your own germs? So no big deal.
Do not ask the microbiologist this question. You will not like the answer.
Tag a bitch, geez.
I'm meh on this. Although I need to know what the food was to make a final determination. If it was something dry like a chip, you are less likely to transfer germs.

I've done this a million times and I'm still alive.

I would not be too proud/embarrassed to take a large sum of money from someone (not stolen of course!). I have none of that "I'll pay my own way" feeling. I will gladly accept things I haven't earned.
SD had a track meet that was in town yesterday. Typically they travel away. Neither H or I went.... In my defense, I was planning all along to stay with the kids because it would have been too cold and long for them. H at the last minute decided not to go. And she did really well too!

are there people like this? Give me all the free money

mary97, here's my thinking on it. As parents we all want to see our kids doing ok, so if that mean our parents giving us money to make our lives easier then accept it and be grateful. If you inherit it after they are gone, they can't take joy from you using it and you will have to pay taxes on it.
I was trying to poke fun at Susan, but maybe I'm not even using it in the right context. So now maybe I'm looking out of touch lol
No this was perfect use and comicSans didn't get it.

I didn't get it because I'm pretty sure in that song he's not talking about taking tags off of stuff to get a better price. It's the lifestyle of getting new stuff all the time, high-rolling, but funny because thrift shopping.

I am one of those people. I'm too independent for my own good but I have recently accepted some money from my folks for some big ticket items for our house when they pushed the "rather see you enjoy your inheritance while we are still alive". It does bother me that I agreed.
+1 but I've eased up a little more after having kids. Especially since I would rather see them get money for their savings vs. a crazy amount of toys. Of course being the only grandchildren they get both.

Last night when DD got up for the billionth time in the last three days for a potty run I let DH go in to her since he was still up watching TV in the living room. I heard her on the monitor but just waited an extra minute to see if he would go. He did but it was too late and she had taken her pants off and diarrhea was all over the carpet.
