Do your N13 kids still drink from sippy cups? Just curious. S drinks from a straw sippy. We work with a regular cup a little but she's not great with it. The problem is she chews the straws horribly and ruins them/bites them off. MH keeps pushing to do away with them , but I don't think she's ready yet. Just curious what your LO uses.
N used a straw sippy up until about a month ago. We made her stop because she was ruining all of them by chewing on them and the would leak when h used them. Now she just uses a regular cup.

lfigge we use both sippy cups and regular cups here, but mostly sippy cups bc I don't want the mess. Can you get a different kind of sippy cup maybe? Like the munchkin ones that don't have a straw?

Yes. She has the gerber sippies but I only use them for milk. You should try a contigo water bottle for S.
I'm sorry 73jewels. If PT is too stressful right now and not working it's ok to table it. You have a lot going on. He will get it eventually.
I've started and stopped a million times and I feel that's part of the problem. And MH is gone with the exception of a few days here and there through late June so I don't want to wait that long. Plus his D.C. Has field trips that start in June and he can't go if he's not potty trained.
I wish I could pay someone to take him for a few days and bring him back potty trained

73jewels T will pee on the potty but never pooped. He refuses to wear underwear. He does not accept bribes for anything. I asked if he plans to wear pull ups to college and he said yes.
That's awesome. I paid someone to fix mine once. It was over $250 and I think I only paid like $300 for the dryer and it was like 10 years old.
Yikes! If I had paid the service fee plus parts it would have been almost $200. Of course they would have known I didn't need the first part I replaced so it probably wouldn't have been quite that much.
Re: cups. Colin drinks mostly from open cups at home, though lately he's been asking for his milk in an old sippy. He also has a kid's Nalgene bottle that he loves, and he uses 2 thermoses at daycare. Basically if he wants what's inside, he'll drink out of whatever. But is that a surprise? That kid lives to eat and drink.
Oh dear. DH blanked on our conversation about me going off the pill. He finally admitted it was ringing some bells but claims I never told him the timing. I pointed out that our last discussion was "hey, my Rx is up next weekend" but he claims he would remember that. He has the combination of a terrible memory and an impressive ability to tune me out, so who really knows exactly why he's so surprised. He's laughing and hyperventilating now, so I was probably right in the first place to keep my mouth shut. Because now he's an anxious mess and I'm annoyed that he's acting like I wasn't totally forthcoming with him. As if I wasn't the one bugging him for months to see the surgeon...

+1
This is my life. We attempted big boy undies this afternoon. Immediately pooped in them.
V never drank from sippy cups or straw cups. Never. He has/had oral motor issues and has been drinking from open cups since 16 months. It's too hard to coordinate the muscles of his mouth for anything else.
We met with our real estate agent late this morning and we've been looking at houses or talking about looking at houses ever since. I'm already over it and I want to barf.

Hi ladies! Yes, S is number 3 and actually is my second post N13 baby. D is April 15. So, I'm the crazy lady with 3, 3 and under! We came home today, so getting settled in for our first night at home! Wish us luck!
Re: sippers, that's what we use most. L and D can do straws and open cups, but are much less messy with sippies, so we usually go that route!
Morning! The Rangers won their series last night so after a long chat, DH ended up keeping me up even later to "celebrate". It was fun but I'm exhausted this morning. Nap time can't come soon enough. Eh let's be honest, I'll probably pass out on the drive to Costco later.
Morning! B woke up at 5:45...not cool, kid. I let him get in bed with me and at least he was willing to lie there quietly/watch a show until a more civilized hour.
More packing today, and the children's baptism class this afternoon.
Morning! Went looking at kitchens this afternoon, i hate most of them 😱. The one I like is off course the most expensive one, figures. Same for tiles and bathtubs...
ETA Dh and I did Rock Paper Scissors to decide who could sleep in this morning, I won, it was glorious!
I read this as you went to look at KITTENS and hated most of them! 😂😂😂
Thanks ladies, I'm very proud of myself. It honestly was pretty easy, just basically unscrewing a bunch of screws and then replacing them.
Last night we went over to a friend's house after dinner. The kids played and then we had the first bonfire of the summer (yes, I know it's not summer yet). Today we don't have much going on this morning. Then this afternoon we are going to a different friend's house.
I think I am going to have to turn E front facing today. I have to get a 5pt booster for mh car since E is now 42in tall. MH is very happy about all of this, I miss my baby.
I was literally thinking about when I'm going to switch H around. She won't meet the weight/height maxes for a while but I'm thinking I'm going to do it next month after she turns 3 1/2.
Last night my sister called me. Her BIL just bought a new house and apparently it came with a wooden swing set. They thought of us and offered it to us for free. She said we may have to replace a few boards but that's way cheaper than a whole brand new one. Score!
