Me, I had all kinds of plans for this weekend (as well as the previous days as I am officially on holiday gah) but all fell thru thanks to the flu. Flu&pregnancy&heart issues = less then none energy.. all I do all day is sleep. Booo! Hope y'alls weekend is better!
Ugh, sorry you're sick muscari. I hope you're able to feel better after some rest.
AFM, we have so many house projects going on atm, so we'll definitely be working on those. Also, gonna get some sample paint for the nursery today to make sure I like it on the walls before we do the whole thing. Busy day.
muscari Sorry you're sick. Illness and pregnancy is miserable.
AFM, H is working so I'm entertaining the toddler. He's currently finding all the little rocks in our flower beds and bringing them to me. We have 11 billion projects to do around the house, preferably before baby arrives. Hoping to get something done tomorrow.

muscari, I hope you getting feeling better quickly.
It's a rainy day here and I'm still on bedrest so . . . probably reading with a mix of TV watching. H just went grocery shopping and is making homemade minestrone today (yum!).
I worked this morning and now I'm trying to decide if I should take a nap while DS is napping. It's cold and rainy outside and it's making me soooooo sleepy.

We are doing house projects. We started with what we thought would be easy. We started by cleaning the front porch. Well we opened the closet and lo and behold the whole thing was full of mildew. Now we are bleaching. I was hoping to get it clean enough to paint but that might not Halen this weekend. Also we are trying to trick kitty who had the broken leg to take her meds in pate which would relieve much pressure. I hate shoving liquid meds down a kitty.
Oh my, y'all have been so busy this weekend already!
cali what colors are you thinking of for the nursery? We still have to start on the nursery.. it's currently our storage room and suuuuch a mess. I simply dread the day we start moving everything to the attic.. but do look forward to having it empty so we can start on the nursery.
@kristyw13, I hear you on the 11 billion projects around the house.. we keep saying we'll start on some "next weekend" lol, then that doesn't happen oops!
happyfeet9, hope you'll get some downtime while solo parenting!
therealbug, nom homemade minestrone! Bon apetit! How is bedrest treating you? Hopefully there's a lot of fun stuff to bingewatch (Netflix or such?) and good books on your to-read stack!
jessa1228, naps are always good *g* esp on rainy days.
elliecat17, oh no, so sorry about the mildew! How's kitty doing apart from not wanting to take her meds? When our Nero had his broken jaw, he was on both pills as well as liquid meds. Not sure what they put in them but he even gobbled up the pills if they fell out of the gummy stuff we wrapped it in. The liquid stuff (his painmeds) was great as well, he'd simply lick it up from a dish. Hopefully the pate trick works for kitty!
We had a birthday party this afternoon but I decided I best stay home, and initially almost begged MH to stay home as well cause I just didn't want to be home alone (sad I know lol!). I slept most of the morning and afternoon and by 4 decided that maybe if we would only stay for a short while it'd be nice to be out of the house for a bit. So I ended up attending after all and actually had a good time. Still feeling rough but at the same time I think the break from my bed did me good as well. And it was great to see our friends again, and I didn't have to cook dinner as there was a food buffet to munch on mmm.
Now I just hope I'll feel a bit okay tomorrow still as well, so maybe we can get some of the plans we had for this weekend sorted! We are planning on switching the guestroom and master bedroom, so we'll be on the same floor as the nursery and bathroom once baby comes. Then once the bedrooms are switched, we can make a start of emptying the nursery-to-be which is now basically a storage room.. though I doubt that'll happen this weekend. We're both off on Wednesday and Thursday (King's Day celebrations) so maybe we can make a start on it then.. we can't continue to postpone hah, baby will be here before we realize!
muscari, I'm glad you were able to get out for a bit and enjoy yourself. We're doing the nursery pink and gray. I picked a gray color for the walls but I want H to do a small section first so I can be sure I like it. We didn't get to that today so hopefully tomorrow. Today we did so much yard work but it needed to be done and looks so good now!
I tried to look for summer maternity clothes yesterday, but didn't get anything. I ended up buying a couple things for T. She wanted a yellow dress and stated, "like Belle." And, first thing she wanted this morning was to wear the dress. So, she wore it to Wegmans (I hate shopping at Wegmans because it's too busy).
I walked 1.5 miles this morning! I'm hoping to walk the mornings that it's not raining. I didn't exercise last pregnancy and I've gained about 20lbs already. Plus, I'd like to work on losing the weight ASAP after birth - last time I just sat around for my maternity leave.
I spent 2 hours and way too much money at the grocery store today 😣 Also, about halfway through, I had to call H to come get DS because he started having some sort of allergic reaction to something. I noticed he was a bit more hyper than normal and then he suddenly broke out in a rash all over his face and hands. He didn't seem bothered by it but I legit thought I was going to have a panic attack. Thankfully H was right down the street anyway.

That's so scary, I'm sorry! Hope he is ok now. Does he have allergies that you know of?
He's had them off and on all day in random spots on his body. I'm wondering if it's seasonal allergies? Or maybe a reaction to cut grass? He's also sniffly/sneezing and his eyes are watering.
Could def be allergies, my niece gets hives like you described and has to take Zyrtec regularly to control them. Has he been allergy tested before? jessa1228

He hasn't, but it'll definitely be something I look into if this continues.
