Birthday party at noon. This is ds' friend that I have requested he be in the same class next year & the one he's had a playdate with so it's a big deal. Lol he's been looking forward to it.

After that there's a summer/schoolyear program open house at the other elementary school. We're gonna go & see if there's anyone there possible we don't know about which I doubt.
I need to buy at least one 24m onesie to see how it fits R. I can't quite tell if she's ready to size up. She's been in 18m since about 5.5m, and they're getting tight, but not too bad. But I'm not sure if the 24m would be too big. Ugh. And then when will she have a growth spurt? She doesn't have much of anything for summer, so what size do I buy? AH!
The house across the street is having a garage sale and they usually have baby stuff, so I'm going to go check it out when R wakes up and hope they have a 24m onesie.

Party was good. It was at their house so it was a lil cramped at first but then they made use of the backyard. Not much of a turn out though with kids from his class though. It was just him & another kid. That dad also brought his older sister & since this kid also has two older sisters the parents welcomed her to stay. They were also having one of the older girl's party afterwards so ds stood a little longer too. A thing I noticed is most parents just dropped their kids off. After he did that, we decided to leave after a while too since we were the only ones there. Once the second influx of kids came in, the next sets of parents did the same thing. I'm wondering if they just did that because it's at a house vs a venue? I feel like pics I see of other people's parties, parents are all over, idk lol so Dh & I went out to lunch in peace

They also had a trampoline in the back & it was making me super nervous because a bunch of kids were on all at once. Ds kept losing his glasses too. It got worse when the older girl's friends showed up so we left earlier than the other boys even though they said we could stay into the girl's party. We had the open house to go to anywho. I'm just glad we got out of there with him unhurt. Lol

We slept in super late today. My alarm for my migraine meds for 730 woke us up so it felt real good. We spent a portion of the morning cleaning ds' uber huge mess of the house he has made the past couple of days, we've been lazy. Dh has to attempt to fix the mower so we're gonna go out & get the part in a bit & if that's successful spend time in the back.
We're going grocery shopping and, hopefully, finding me some new pajamas and shorts at Target or Kohl's today. Mostly I'm just excited to get stuff to make waffles!

No such luck with the mower so I'll just have to order the part online. We've been hanging outside & doing some other stuff but mostly relaxing, ds has been content with his log cabin. Such a beautiful day. We got a bird feeder for the one tree in the back & already saw some using it. I wanna get another one for the big tree we have, I love it.

Im tired. We've been outside pretty much all day. Dh figured out a botched way of getting the mower to work so he's been doing about half of the backyard, the other half is still a swamp. Makes it hard because we wanna get him a new swingset. Ugh But then again I believe the area where his old playground was is dry, it's just the trek back & forth would be a biatch. Hopefully the weather stays dry for a bit, I think we're gonna decide on one soon & order it.
