I just impulse bought the rock n play in the pinned post. We don't NEED one but an additional place to put this baby while tending to DS is going to be beneficial, right?? And 50% off is a good deal on a baby item, right?? I mean I could always cancel it before it ships since there is at least a month before it would ship. This is why I'm bad at impulse things, I always feel guilty when I don't necessarily need to!
I almost bought one, too...still considering it. We got one at a consignment sale but I actually haven't even checked to see if it works yet...and I don't need two of everything but this is one thing that I think two would be good and the price is right!!
So scary RajahMD! I stuck myself during my last pregnancy while deaccessing a patient's mediport. Luckily they were clean, but it was scary. I hope everything works out ok for you and baby!
Believe me, I can't believe we're just finding out either lol.
This was my first ultrasound, I guess because my first pregnancy was uncomplicated and I was sure of my general conception time period?? Why they didn't pick up my high hCG levels at my 9 week bloodwork is beyond me!
I knew I looked big and felt movement from low to high in my tummy, but I figured, eh, 2nd pregnancy must be weird, lol.
So, went for the anatomy scan yesterday and the first thing you see on the screen, clear as day -- 2 heads and 2 backs.

Wow that is crazy kirabou (I think I've had 8? U/s now, but this was IVF and I'm AMA)...but I can't imagine getting my first us at 20w; you are patient!
Would be quite a shock to figure it out now that's for sure! There's a parents of multiples board (they do a pregnant with multiples check in too) if you want to pop over there ever, it's been nice for me to read the posts and get advice as I start to believe that this is really real and I might actually have two babies.
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!

I swear I was just now looking for that and couldn't find it -- I was looking under pregnancy boards though, I'll check parenting boards now, thanks!
And yeah lol I would have liked an earlier scan but was trying to go with the flow. Sighhhh. Lol.
RajahMD, I'm so sorry, that is so scary. I work with a population with a high rate of HIV/Hep C, and it's always on my mind. I've only ever stuck myself once, with a clean needle, thank goodness. I hope the antiretrovirals aren't too unbearable, and that your results are all clear.
Believe me, I can't believe we're just finding out either lol.

I'm still processing lol.
Same thing happened with my sister! When she got pregnant again, she pushed for an early ultrasound just to be sure.

Thanks for all your support ladies. So far I'm tolerating the meds well, though I've been warned it can definitely take a few day for side effects to appear. I'll be sure to keep y'all updated as they check my labs.
Crazy to think that our babies will be here before I get fully cleared!

RajahMD I am so sorry, that must have been scary. Glad to hear you are tolerating the drugs well so far, and I will have everything crossed for clear and speedy test results!
DD lost and born 9/18/2013 at 24 weeks (Trisomy 18) DS born 6/16/2015 (at 39 weeks 6 days, after emergency cerclage at 23 weeks and 14 weeks of bed rest)

Congrats!
Lol people keep asking if I'm mad that they missed it all this time-- I'm not, though, because it really wouldn't have changed anything. Someone pointed out that at least I got to bypass the anxiety associated with early term twin pregnancy, so hey, bonus!
Got myself a mini van a couple days ago and we're already in the process of moving closer to family.
I slept like poo last night. My dreams are so vivid that I feel like I haven't gotten any restful sleep at all. It's like I have been up all night running.
DS1 has barn duty today so I'm taking him there to clean stalls. I love that he has this volunteer position. I feel like it has given him enough outside (of the home) responsibility and I'm seeing some maturity. He wants to drive in the next year or so and I told him that isn't even a possibility until I see some more maturity. The thought terrifies me!
Today is another day of laundry and cleaning. My house is already a disaster zone from earlier this week.
It's Lab Week at the hospital, so there's all sorts of stuff happeneing all week to celebrate. Well, today is free lunch day. And somehow they lost my lunch order! Multiple people saw my order form, and the admin remembers me turning it in. They have no idea why I got left off the list. So no free lunch for me today.
Let's just say that hunger plus pregnancy hormones made for a very emotional resident. I've been alternating between pissed off and so sad that I could cry.
So I treated myself to a foot long from Subway. Steak and cheese, with extra cheese. Yummy!

Pregnancy dreams.... oh my goodness. I don't remember having them so much with DD, but this time, wow. The other night I had a vivid dream that involved Donald Trump and Bill Clinton. Nothing sexual, but still. WTF brain? I woke up and was all

SO exciting @wicky! Can't wait to see/hear what it is.
Our power has been out since 6am and they don't expect it to be back on until 6pm. Of course today was one of my "office" days, so I was planning to work from home all day. So I'm sitting at Panera shivering because it was 80* here yesterday and today it's 50*...so I think they still have the air on.
I think I'm going home shortly to lay down and read emails or a work type book. My sciatic nerve is killing me and I'm exhausted.

RajahMD , Yikes! FX that you're clear and the meds aren't too rough on you. kirabou , I would not have been able to hold out that long for an ultrasound. Congrats on the surprising news!

I had to be in court all morning and just got home and need to do tons of work...but I'm bone crushingly tired. I'm taking a 30 min to put my feet up before I dive into part two of my day.
I just mailed my shower invites though! (The friend who is hosting is out of the country until next week and she's basically doing everything herself so I offered to stuff and mail them.) I am erring on the side of early for the shower just in case there are issues and I'm restricted later in the pregnancy. But this means I need to fix up my registry! Eek!

Agreed on the pregnancy dreams. Last night I was in labour, at the hospital, but my OB hadn't removed the cerclage yet and was busy dealing with another mom. While we waited for him to arrive, Ted Danson brought us some fried chicken to snack on. WTF?
