My child is on poop number 3 today. I think we might need to cut back on blueberries... We went to the Y this morning. I used to hate the cardio machines but now it's not so bad to listen to music and have a little space... I was planning on spin class but they instituted a new bracelet policy at childwatch so it took a while to get that all set. So no class for me. I'll get there this week. How is everyone doing this lovely monday?

Boo you missed spin!
Yup. I was cutting it close as it was. The class is super popular so you have to get there at least 10 mins early to get a bike. They are doing bracelets for the kids now so they match kid to ID card when you pick them up. But you still have to sign them in and out. It's more security but not time saving at all... And we are there so often that we know everyone anyways, and my kids would definitely not get picked up by a stranger and be okay with it, but whatever. More security is fine

Morning. Packers came out this morning to survey the apartment, figure out how many boxes/men they need etc. It still doesn't seem real that we'll be flying out next week.

Ooooo they pack for you too? That's life changing.

It's really tripping me out to see the 2018 BMBs starting up.
I have a three day work week as DH and I are heading out of town Thursday for a long weekend meetup with his car group. After solo parenting most of this weekend, I'm ecstatic for three nights without my kids. My mom is coming to watch them and she's excited/nervous, haha. But of course, three day work week means a very hectic three days for me. With the regular academic year coming to a close, my summer school work is getting more and more demanding.

DD1 woke up fever free and has no obvious symptoms (yay!) but still seems a little subdued today. Everyone does actually so we are having a quiet day in so far.
The twins have recently discovered they can climb onto the dining chairs and access the table. I'm just waiting for someone to take a tumble, my poor nerves. I also have to be more on top of keeping the table clear!
They also now climb onto the learning tower themselves too!

A grey and relatively cool morning here. Made for a chilly start to a run, but also meant I wasn't bright red and sweaty after - always a plus at work. I've been seriously slacking on running since my race last month, so it was nice to get back to it!
We did the make up photo session for S this morning. It was actually colder out than I was expecting so it didn't go great. The sibling shots at the beginning seemed to go well but when it was time for individual pics of S the wheels fell off. So we tried and will see what we get. She said I should get my pics back today or tomorrow so that's exciting. She offered to try one more time with the individual pics if I still want a little more after she sends me the pics.
My allergies are killing me. I've taken a Zyrtec and used some allergy eye drops, but I still look like a monster. There's a cat at my moms so there's just no way to get away from it. Joy. Xavier is over tired and my patience is pretty low. Yay for traveling.

I committed myself to joining a friend for a zumba class tonight. I'm excited to see her and do something active, but it's pouring rain and chilly so I just want to curl up on my couch and not zumba.

Oh yes. I'd never have signed up for this gig if I'd have to pack myself every 2-3 years. I habe to say it is awkward being home and watching them pack while DH and I just hang out on the couch...
Starting to get over my cold, yay. DS has one of those little car train things he can sit on and push with his feet and he's currently obsessed with it. Fisher price neglected to include an off switch for the sound effects from what I can tell. I don't mind much, but come on toy manufacturers get it together.

Have fun! I love Zumba but haven't done a class since my first trimester with the twins.

I need a way to keep up cleaning the floors. I need to start with a good on my hands and knees scrubbing because it hasn't been done in a loooong time but I'd like to try and maintain it afterwards. I'm considering a steam mop because cleaning + sanitizing without chemicals and seems like it would be relatively convenient. I don't want to spend a fortune either. Any experience with them here? Anyone have a different solution for their floors they love?

I have a bissell steam mop that I love. I only use it on our tile though, as I don't trust the highly worn finish on our wood floors. Obviously doesn't do mich for grout, but I feel safe eating dropped food off it for about a day after cleaning it ;-)

Thanks! I was surprised by how much fun it was and how quickly the 45 minute class flew by. At $25 for 10 classes, I think I've finally found something I can do on a regular basis and have a "me night" once a week like DH does with band practice.
