Sooooo did y'all see the commercial before they pulled it down? Thoughts?
I'm boycotting them personally. I think the black women's dollar is a powerful force, and I'd like to put it behind a brand that stays loyal to their core customers.
No, what happened? I have to boycott th now? Nooooo!
They made a commercial with white women talking about how "difficult" their hair is. The one black girl they had was light skinned with like 3A-3B hair.
What's ridiculous is natural hair stuff is already expensive. And I can't afford it continue. It's cheaper to buy perms these days.
OMG yes. Fifteen dollar conditioner is killing my pockets with all this damn hair in my house, but I finally had products that work for all four of us. Now I have to start over, I guess.

I've been using Shea Moisture on my 5 year old since she was 6 months old. I love their products. Once they are gone I'm moving on to something else. I'm so disappointed. I liked that they had Sierre Leone roots. My cousin says good things about TGIN, so I'll give them a try.

Ok, first I will say that I RARELY do my own hair so I have no loyalties. I also just washed my hair with some free Pantene products I got at Essence Festival. Soooo, with that said, there's disappointment but at the same time if they have products that work for you then go with it. We buy from majority white companies all of the time without a fuss. It is what it is.
Wait...I do buy the body scrubs to use between waxes. Point remains, if it works for me I am going to buy it.
Also to say, I am not one of those boycotters that react at everything. Take Pepsi for instance, I don't drink the crap anyway but if you try to go boycott every company for each slight then we have nothing left.

If there are several other companies that provide an equal or better product, I see no issues with boycotting the controversial one.
I know Larry happened. Please do not try to convince me otherwise. Please don't talk to me about coffee. I don't drink it. I don't caffeine. When I state my opinion, that is me chiming in on a topic. This is not me saying you suck at life if you do or feel differently. If I want to say that, I will. If I want to speak on you, I will.
