We don't have an appointment but I did weigh H on my baby scale on Sunday, when he turned 15 months. He was 21 lbs 8 oz, up 1 pound since his birthday.
Those of you doing 15 month vaccines, do you have them at 12, 15, and 18? Or did they basically do the 18 month shots now and you're done? We did them at 12, some at 18 and then we're done until about school age.

Based on S's chart she will be getting MMR, dtap and HIB at her 15m appt.
ETA: possibly hep a also. I'm trying to base it off H's shot record too.

12m: HIB, Hep A, Prevnar 15m: MMR, Varivax 18m: DTAP, Hep A 2y: Hep A 4y: DTAP, IPV, MMR, Varivax
And then they're done apart from annual flu, TdaP boosts, HPV, and Menactra (meningitis), but apart from flu that's all age 11+
ETA: Looks like our practice follows CDC and AAP guidelines for a recommendation for 12, 15, and 18m well checks. So maybe a lack of 15m is a Canadian thing?

She's in the US
Oops! I get confused because y'all are mostly all North of me ;-)

Yeah I'm not sure why we don't do one. It's possibly my doctor does it for some people, if she feels it's necessary. She skips the 9 month appt for me too, we went from 6 to 12 months. We don't have any vaccines to do at 15. Just 12 and then 18.

I've never heard of this Menactra vaccine. Is it a newer thing?

It is. It's for meningitis. I think it's strange they're recommending it so young, as the real risk for meningitis isn't really until college. I'll have to remember to ask about it in 7 years ;-)
I haven't been around this board for awhile (mostly lurking on parenting and moms)...but as a refresher I have Feb 16 twins.
We have their 15 month appt next week. I have tons of questions about my boy. He is still not walking. Anyone else have a non walking 15 month old? Should I be concerned? He doesn't even seem to be close. His twin sister has been walking for 3 months, so it seems he is WAY behind though google tells me up to 16 is normal.
He is also a big boy (my 2nd concern). It may be hindering his walking. He was over 25lbs at one year. I'm interested to see where is he at now. I'm guessing he is pushing 30?!? He had a big head. Over 100% (is the possible)? Anyway, I worry about him being too big. He eats about the same as his twin sister. She is not small, but probably closer to 23lbs.
Yes, there are some others here that aren't walking, or just starting to walk. Is he pulling to stand and/or side-stepping along the furniture? If so, that's good. If not, then you might want to either seek a developmental screening or if you can start working with him on your own to help him do those things.
His size could definitely contribute to his motor being behind his sister. Did he roll/crawl/etc later than her as well, I assume? Or was he along the same path and quit/slow down? It's harder when there's more weight to lug around! Also, some babies have a more go get 'em personality and others are more content or cautious. Lots of factors can play a role!

My DD2 is also not walking. She seems to be getting close, like maybe by this time next month she could be walking. My sister has twins, B&G, who were the same as yours. Her daughter was walking at like 10 months and son didn't until he got tubes in at 15 months (not sure exactly why he got tubes, I can't remember because they are 10 now). He could just be slower physically, as my doctor mentions at every check up when S is a little behind the curve.

Hi 12345 Nice to see you around here again! DD didn't crawl until almost 11 months and she just started walking last week. She seemed uninterested for a long time and then she was overly cautious. She also has an off-the-charts big head, and I do think that slows them down too.
12345 when he is sitting is he kind of slouched, rounded back? Or nice and straight back? When he's crawling is he in a nice straight back four point position or does his stomach/back droop and/or legs and hips bow out some? If he's not straight he could have a weak core. Some ways to strengthen his core are horsey rides on your lap, hold him lower on the core and you can lean or bounce him around so he's using his core to keep his balance at center. Also using a yoga ball to bounce and wiggle around so he has to keep balanced at center. (Hold low at waist so he has to use his core.)
lemoncupcake stupid ear infections. S got tubes at the beginning of feb and we haven't had any issues since. Surgery was super quick and recovery was basically nothing. I hope she can get some relief soon!
Weight: 20lbs 14oz (46th) Height: 31" (67th) Head: freaking massive (above 99th, doesn't even register 😂) L is finally bigger than C was at 6mos. By 3oz. My kids are so different. Other than that, she's doing fine. I asked about her general disregard for food and pedi wasn't concerned. She got 2 shots. I also asked why some pedis do 15mo appts and vaccines then and some skip and do them at 18mos. She said it's done state by state and she generally doesn't know why. However the current recommendations for vaccines do not distinguish between giving at 15vs18 mos. So no real answer.

Height: 30.6" 49% Weight: 22 lbs 2 oz 62% Head circ: 19.8" >99% Anything to report? She screamed slightly less than at the less appointment. Still a lot of screaming though.

Height: 32 1/4 - 94%
Weight: 20lb 13.8oz - 45%
Head: 45 1/2cm - 45% - so pretty close to average over here rivers and roads
Doctor says she's developing great and everything looks good other than a surprise ear infection. I feel guilty for not realizing she had one, but all the other signs of sickness last week had me focused on tummy issues rather than ear issues. Poor baby girl.
L has started to connect the dots on not liking going to the doctor. The moment we got back to the room she got this look of familiarity on her face and started pouting. She starting crying and scrambling to get into my lap the moment the doctor walked in. Seeing her learn and understand things amazes me every day, but I was hoping for at least a few more doctors appointments free from terror.
