DD moved her wake up from 330 to 230 and I hope she keeps it that way. It will give me more sleep on the back end than what I was getting. Her snot situation seems better and DS seems a little better too.
We are finally meeting with my attorney today to do our wills. After the fiasco of my dad not updating his after my parents divorced I can't believe it has taken me this long to do one.

DD slept a long stretch last night - 11 to 6. We need to size up her overnight diapers because she wets so much at night. I much prefer her waking at 10 or 11 vs 2 but I think last night was a fluke.

We had a really rough evening last night with about three hours of serious fussing, but then DD slept for 7 hours straight. I was a hot mess by bedtime, so I'm incredibly grateful for the sleep.

Also, DH and I got into it last night. I don't know how to stop pushing each other's buttons like that. I can tell we both need a break but I'm not sure how to achieve that. Maybe when we visit his family in a few weeks we can have a night to ourselves.
erinshelley21 DS is the same way with being swaddled. We usually do arms out. The only time full swaddle seems to work for him now is when he's super fussy (usually when he's overtired). Bedtime is almost always arms out.
moutonrouge that's an awesome stretch!! Also, I would take full advantage of available family and spend some fun time with DH doing something not baby related or taking care of work/house. H and I have been able to do that a few times, and I think it really does help.
Our MOTN wake-up has been an hour earlier the last couple nights, so our morning wake-up has been earlier as week. I'm not against the earlier motn time - it actually is better. (Before, by the end I got back to bed was a lot closer to when H gets up).
The forecast is super rainy the next couple days. I don't need to go anywhere really, but the rain makes being in the house all day a bummer. Sitting on the deck for a little would be nice!

B had a great night, wake ups at 1:15am and 5:40am. But my toddler...she was up 4 times crying. I had to sing her back to sleep each time. It's really unlike her so idk what that was about.
Baby slept from 12am-3:30 am! We ate, pumped and went back to bed from 4:30-6:30am. He is getting better at sleeping through the night and it feels great. Morning seem to be the best time for cuddles and nursing for him.
He still got really bad yesterday afternoon again. I don't know what's going on with him. Gripe water is not helping.
I had a great night! Looks like L's "bed time" is midnight (according to the last 2 nights anyway). He likes to feed every 1.5 hours except when we put him down at midnight he slept 3-4 hours straight. Today he was even better about going down after the 4am feeding (only for 1.5 hours at a time, but at least he's not all bright eyed and bushy tailed).
At certain times of day he seems to be really fussy after a feeding and needs to be physically walked around for 30 mins to settle back to sleep. Sometimes he spits up everything he ate. This happens maybe 1x a day - is this just normal baby stuff?
mikaela20, your lo and mine sound like they are on the same schedule! The night sleep stretches are awesome. L also gets super fussy in the afternoons/evenings but is pretty peaceful all morning.
Colds all around here. Baby is all congested and projectile spit up all over me and him last night and again this morning. I'm so sick of being sick and DD bringing germs home from daycare. This poor kid is 5 weeks old and has had two colds already.

DD is requiring epic levels of white noise to sleep. She's got my phone in the swing, plus the swings sound machine, plus the air purifier across the room, all on max volume. This doesn't seem sustainable, but it did get me to find and charge my tablet. Priorities.
A slept in her crib last night, in her own room! H didn't want me to try yet, but he went back to work today and the early wake up (530) would not make me happy if he woke A up too. So I rocked/nursed her to sleep and put her in her crib around 10. She woke up at 1, 330 and 5ish but ultimately slept until just after 7. H works overtime shifts the next 3 out of 4 nights, leaving me to do dinner and bed alone so fx both kids sleep at least until he gets home around midnight.
A also seems to have a cold Baby #1 wasn't sick until almost 6 months told. The 2nd kid gets the short end of the stick with the toddler germs, poor kid My mom took dd1 for the morning so I'm trying to just relax with A for a while. Tgit though!
C is fighting naptime hard. Everytime he dozes of, he makes a noise and wakes himself up. I'm almost afraid to do anything until he's legit asleep. So right now I'm chilling in the couch. Maybe we will both fall asleep...
Yesterday, the baby cried for almost 6 hours straight. I finally called the doctor and they told me to give her Tylenol. She chilled out after that, but I was so shaken up. During this, H called to tell me he forgot he had a work event last night. I flipped out on him bc he had left for work at 5 am so he could "come home early."
The upside: He handled the night, so I got 9 hours of uninterrupted sleep. I only woke up when I did bc I needed to pump.
ETA: The Tylenol was bc she had her shots Monday, and they said it was possible it was still from that.
No- you can't take aspirin. I was in the same situation last week. My doctor called in some Tylenol 3, and said to take with caffeine.
blah. Excedrin's the only thing that works, other than prescription imitrex. what's Tylenol 3? I got some ibuprofen 600 and some norcos that I think may be heavy duty tylenol, but I was told no driving with them, and I have to leave in twenty five minutes to go to the train station. H left his phone at home, and I offered to bring it down and this way he can show off the baby to his coworkers. Perfect day to develop a migraine. Going to stop for soda on the way to the train, because the bottles I picked up on Monday expired and taste off.
The norco would work. The Advil probably wouldn't help me....
Tylenol 3 is Tylenol and Codeine. Norco is Tylenol and Hydrocodone. You could take the excedrin and give her formula or breast milk you've already pumped until after the half life. (6 hours)
Actually, my doctor told me that excedrin is fine.. egads, I hope she is correct as I have been taking it.
I'm pretty sure the risk is just that Reye's syndrome. So, it's really only dangerous on the off chance your baby develops a fever while drinking your breastmilk that has aspirin in it.
