cheezee crossing my fingers that the ECV works for you! i had one (not successful but i think we might have had a different result if we'd shopped around for someone else to do it) with DD1 - let me know if you have questions.

ihatepizza - I hope everything goes well with the rest of your induction! applemuffins - that is definitely a roller coaster. I'm glad you get another couple days to prepare. cheezee - I hope baby listens to you and the ECV is successful.

I'm literally counting down the time. 11.5 hours left haha. Won't get results until tomorrow, doctor said pre-e doesn't look likely so far, but we won't know until the urine is tested. But regardless, doctor said it looks like I have gestational hypertension and wants to bring baby out once he hits 37 weeks, which is Saturday, so likely won't be going home until he shows up. Was not expecting this at all. Happened pretty suddenly, but I trust it's the right choice and not gonna lie, I'm very ready to be done with all this.
And I've been so hot here!! Ladies, if you've been running on the warm side this pregnancy pack a fan!!
This is exactly what happened to me. No preeclampsia in the end (although apparently that's always the worry) but they induced at 36w2d because of hypertension. Let me know if you want to talk.

lulu783sdlaura oddly enough I was GBS positive last time and all I really recall was having the annoying IV attached to me when I was induced. I was annoyed by it, because it followed me everywhere and I was dumb enough to get it in my dominant hand, but i don't recall any pain or burning. I don't think I gave it a second thought other than knowing if my water broke I would be admitted and not sent home until I was more dilated. Go figure this time I'm not. Not sure if that helps?
Thanks starsandshamrocks123. My only real concern is that I don't want to have to go to the hospital more than an hour before birth like I did the first two times

Just had my 36 week appt. I had the GBS swab which was fun *sarcasm*. My belly is measuring a little small so if it's still small next week we'll do an ultrasound. This happened 2 appts ago and then I measured fine so I think I'm just going to have a small baby. OB offered to check my cervix but I declined. We discussed how it doesn't really tell you anything and I don't really want to know. Also had my platelet count checked again since we're monitoring it.
Had part 1 of the 37 week appointment (since I am doing twice a week we have started calling them part 1 and 2). Baby passed the scans but wasn't super cooperative so this mama is of course worried. I think this will just be my next two weeks, is he stubborn and I am worried. We scheduled the induction date for June 5th officially so the countdown is on. 2 weeks from today, we will at least be starting the process of having a baby or have one already if he comes on his own! 3 more appointments until baby!
cateyes I'm glad baby did well on the scans and hope you can enjoy your last baby free weeks without anxiety. I also started counting appointments until baby this week and it makes it seem so close!
So I'm sitting in labor and delivery now. I slipped and fell while dropping my kids off at preschool. Maybe I shouldn't have been carrying both lunches and both swim bags . I called my doctor, expecting to be told to make sure baby was moving and no strange bleeding or discharge, but instead they told me to come in. I decided to come to a hospital closer to my office even though my doctor doesn't have privileges here, since I think it's highly unlikely I'll be admitted. Anyway, baby is on the monitor now and sounds great. Hopefully I can get out of here soon.

sdlaura - I'm glad baby is sounding great on the monitors, hopefully they'll let you go soon. bagels - hooray for a countdown! Rest up as much as possible until then.
Thanks ladies. Just waiting for blood test results now to make sure my blood didn't mix with baby's, since I'm blood type O negative. Then I should be able to go.
I did get my group B strep results from my swab last week, since this hospital is in the same medical system as mine, and I'm excited that they were negative. That removes a big stress about getting to the hospital by a certain time whenever I do have the baby.
