Morning! We did a shorter run this morning along the shore during low tide. We ran through ankle-deep water at times and climbed over lots of jetties. It was fun but exhausting!
The boys just got back from skating and Colin decided he wants a break for now. DH is a bit annoyed and reminding him that he can't play hockey if he doesn't learn to skate. How dumb. He's 3, he's got plenty of time to change his mind. Anyhow next is swimming and I'll probably catch a quick nap while the boys sleep this afternoon. Maybe we'll hit the trail again later.
Morning! I've had a very productive morning. I went to barre class, showered, gave the girls a bath, and then we went and picked carpet for the basement. We are headed home now, I will need to eat lunch and then off to work. I'm going to get a coffee on the way because I want one. I'm feeling a little crampy so I'm hoping that my period starts today so I don't have to be paranoid about it starting MOTN.

I've had a somewhat productive morning as well. I got up and picked up around the house then headed out to do those errands I never got to yesterday. Also hit up the grocery store.
The spring football game is today, so we'll be going to that in a bit. Before then, M and I will head out to pick up an ice cream cake for MH and a little gift from him. We're going out to dinner later this evening.
I'm thinking of selling my big stroller; anyone have an Umbrella stroller that they love?
I love love love my summer infant 3D. It's an umbrella but it has great storage underneath and it reclines pretty far back for napping. I think I bought it after asking you guys for advice a few years ago
I'm feeling blue today. DH wants to go to Costco which probably will not improve my mood.
What's wrong?
This is just one of those times when a straw broke the camel's back.
DH has been stressed at work and bringing that mood home and being overall unpleasant. My frustration with that daily has been building so when I painted something I was really proud of (I'm new to painting) and he looked at it and said nothing...it left me feeling, unimportant?
Of course it wasn't that one moment, it's a culmination of things. It's emotionally hard when you're not a priority for your partner I guess is what I'm trying to say.

Hey girls. I have a charity event tonight and I'm already exhausted from getting a mani/pedi, lashes and a blowout. If tickets weren't so expensive, I would just suggest we skip it and go to dinner since we already have a babysitter. So not up for lots of small talk tonight!
I bought more tests so I can POAS again tomorrow. I wouldn't even bother because I'm convinced the timing wasn't right, but I'm so damn tired. Might as well check to be safe.

Happy birthday lfigge!! Glad your dh is safe! All that flooding sounds scary!
Well, we officially put our house back on the market today and put in an offer for the other house. Please cross your fingers that al the stars align and this works out.
I don't know if you remember, but last week I mentioned that Josie's tantrums are few and far between. Well, because she is sick, she has more than made up for them this weekend. I am exhausted. I broke into a case of spiked seltzer (it's a lot like zima). I'm going to have another, clean the master bathroom, and watch Grey's.
Sounds like H. She has been especially whiny the last few days.
trtlcrzy, it's so tough. Josie's got a strong, arms crossed, stamping of the foot, "NO" that makes me want to drive far far away. I'm trying so hard to be patient because I know that her feelings are big and she's trying to figure it all out, but man, oh, man, tonight's drinks are well-deserved.
H has just been crying and whining about EVERYTHING. Literally. DH took her to the father daughter dance tonight and he said she did this for the first half hour:
All because she wanted to drive her pink car that MIL & FIL got her.
lfigge, that's horrible, I hope the flooding subsides soon.
I called in a noise complaint to the PD. I've never done that before but it's every weekend and driving me crazy. Anyway I called a half hour ago and they haven't come so I think they may never come. Boo to loud parties every weekend until we move
The summer infant 3D has great reviews! Thanks guys. I'm going to go to BBB next week and try them out.
I have the g luxe which we love, BUT I would compare the size of the one you want folded against a city mini. I have the baby jogger summit, so it's huge but I do love the easy fold and shade of that brand and daydream of their super flat and easy fold.
Hi! Going pretty well. S is doing great and giving me 3 hour stretches at night after a few nights of cluster feeding hell. So glad to have turned that corner! The boys are waking a lot and requiring MH to go in and help them fall back asleep, though. So, we are both tired and at each other's throats a bit. I always want it to be a nice period of sweet family time after a beware baby is born but in reality we end up fighting a lot! Between my hormones and his sometimes insensitive actions (like inviting overnight guests 1 week PP--and not the come to be helpful kind), it's rough! He's great in so many ways, but I just don't think men understand the physical and emotional healing that occurs after having a baby. Anyway, that's my mini vent. Overall, we are doing well and S is a pretty lowkey baby! Thanks for checking in!
Prayers for safety for your H and others, lfigge, and happy bday'
