Week/Team/Fruit: 37+3, b/g, romaine lettuce

Appointments this week: OB Thursday, C-section Friday morning!

Symptoms: sleep is hard, walking is hard, even laying down has it's challenges

Rave: meeting the outside babies this week!!

GTKY: One of my first concerts was New Kids on the Block and Tiffany. I liked Tiffany more, then got into New Kids after the concert.

Week/Team/Fruit: 35.5, g/g, bunch of carrots

Appointments this week: Trying to see an on tomorrow to see what else we can do for PUPPPs rash, and get a doctors note to stop work. Also to discuss the possibility of an early induction due to PUPPPs.
Then U/S and routine appointment on Wednesday.

Symptoms: basically PUPPPs rash now consumes me

Rant/rave/question: anyone else deal with PUPPPs? How did you manage?

GTKY: I was a BSB fan over *NSYNC but loved them both. Wasn't a Hanson fan though.

Week/Team/Fruit: 17w/purple/pomegranate

Appointments this week: Nothing but I had OB and ultrasound last Thurs, went well.

Symptoms: Still nauseated, threw up today. Didn't expect this at 17wks. I'm so so exhausted and I know that's only going to get worse. Sciatica is most of the day now. Good times.

Rants/Raves/Questions: Rant - we have decided on names but twice now my husband has gone back on the boy's name, and then said yes to it again. He's driving me crazy, I want to call these kids by their names!!

GTKY: In honor of JT up there, were you a boy band fan? If so, which one? I was never a big boy band fan. I was more into pop punk... I guess my high school versions of a boy band were Good Charlotte and Newfound Glory

Week/Team/Fruit: 31+1 / double pink / heads of lettuce

Appointments this week: nothing this week. It's my last week of freedom! Starting weekly BPP and NST next week

Symptoms: swelling in feet, legs and ankles, minor sciatic pain and otherwise just feeling big and slow

Rants/Raves/Questions: I touched on it in the randoms thread, but I found a way to fit a convertible and two infant seats in the back seat of my CR-V! Also, I survived my meeting last week in Chicago. I napped a lot Thursday-Sunday when I got home.

GTKY: In honor of JT up there, were you a boy band fan? If so, which one? I was an *NSYNC girl. Big crush on Lance. My gaydar hadn't been honed yet.

Week/Team/Fruit: 24/purple/corn

Appointments this week: Thursday we have cervical check and growth scan. So excited to see them again!

Symptoms: Usual - exhaustion and hip pain. Also starting to get some reflux.

Rant/rave/question: Today is V-Day!!! So happy that we started doing some shopping over the weekend.

GTKY: BSB 4 EVA! I've been to 3 of their concerts, including the NKOTBSB tour, had lots of memorabilia.

starmile I'm with you on the name frustration. Baby girl has a name but DH has yet to decide on one for baby boy, so I can't use it yet.

lindsay Hope you can get some relief soon. I know someone on my BMB who dealt with this in her 1st pregnancy, so I can ask if she has any tips.

lindsay, I'm so sorry to hear that you're dealing with PUPPS - I read about it and was paranoid about every itch I had. I hope your docs can offer some solutions for relief.

starmile, we did that with boy names the entire time. Even last night, we were going back and forth... I hope the nausea subsides soon.

Crisco Salad, that's great about the car seats. Putting off a new payment is always a good thing!

river - exciting to meet babies this week.


Week/Team/Fruit: 35+6 bunches of carrots

Appointments this week: dr on tues and OB and growth scan on Friday.

Symptoms: heartburn, hip pain and swelling. Also constant contractions, thinking about heading into the hospital this morning. I am scheduled for a c-section on the 16. But contractions kept me up all night and are getting more intense and don't want to experience all of labor before having a c-section do to breech babyish

Rave: hoping all these contractions are actually labor and not a false alarm although I would rather the babies cook a little longer I am done with the constant painful contractions.

Week/Team: 34 + 2 / purple

Appointments this week: MFM and OB appointments later this week. I'm anxious to find out how much they've grown!

Symptoms: Nothing really - I just move at a snail's pace. I'm a bit uncomfortable but its been pretty manageable.

Rants/Raves/Questions: I'm starting to get excited to see the little ones. I've mostly been a ball of nerves, but as things are crossed off my "to-do" list, I'm getting more excited.

Week/team/fruit: 22w2d/green/butternut squash

Appts this week: non this week, last week f/u AS and what they could see looked good, still missing some measurements. OB said all looked good. I go back the 17th for another scan.
Symptoms: not sure if it's allergies or babies but I'm beyond exhausted and have terrible headaches again, boo!
Rant/raves/questions: oh I got a pregnancy pillow and it's been life changing. I have been having terribly pain in my tailbone from a fall months ago and pregnancy has just made it worse and now...I sleep like a baby and the pain is reduced at least 50%. It's heaven.

GTKY: I liked some songs but wasn't really super into any of the boy bands as a super fan. I had tic to see *NSYNC as an adult but ended up moving before the concert and selling my tix.

lindsay, I'm so sorry. PUPPPs sucks. So much. The good news is that it has no impact on your health or the health of the babies... Which means it isn't a reason for early induction. I begged, I cried... I hope your OB considers it, mine would not.
It went away completely after the kids were out. Til then, moisturize (go for balms and creams vs lotions that contain alcohol), cool showers, tepid Epsom salt soaks (just make sure to hydrate!) ice packs or cold compresses. I used pine tar soap which helped for a little bit but smells terrible. Soft natural fiber clothing- I stopped going into work partly because i couldn't stand the feeling of my work clothes!

schmella the dr I saw today won't induce sooner than 38w. She prescribed me a steroid so FX it helps. I cried in my appt again today. It's just so miserable. But I'm thankful the babies are doing fine!

Week/Team/Fruit:

23+5/Purple/mango

Appointments this week:

MFM today for cervix check, fluid check, and growth scan.

Symptoms:

Mainly tired.

Rants/Raves/Questions:

My cervix measured at 2.5 with funneling when pressure was applied. Both babies gained right around 3 ounces since the last growth scan (2 weeks ago). Baby A looked good and is fluid level was well within the normal range. Baby A is now measuring in the 1st percentile. She is 15 ounces (430 grams) and her fluid level dropped a lot. Blood flow to her kidneys and her cranial blood flow looked good so they do not feel like she is in any distress right now. They also think the fluid drop is due to placental insufficiency.

The plan with the MFM is to recheck me in a week and for us to mentally prepare for me to be admitted back into the hospital probably in two weeks so they can closely monitor the babies. B is dictating our next steps. As soon as they see any signs of distress they are going to deliver but the MFM is wanting her to get to 500 grams first. The MFM said to prepare for probably 3 to 4 months of NICU time.

Week/Team/Fruit: 32+4, b/g, squash (they feel like watermelons)

Appointments this week: Just had growth/nst on Monday and all babes are doing well and still head down.

Symptoms: just overall discomfort. I almost hate getting into bed now because I don't know how long it will take me to get settled/fall asleep. Oh and the swelling. My feet/ankles and legs are INSANE. I will share a pic below .

Raves: My to-do list is babsically done! My hope was to have everything done by May so I can relax as much as possible this month. AND, I thought I'd be more emotional, but we are now sending DS to daycare on my day off (Wednesday's) since I can't handle him being the size that I am. I feel like I can actually REST.

GTKY: loved me some BSB and *NSYNC! Bigger *NSYNC fan though. Still can't resist JT .
