Tapa is making me nuts with these paragraphs!!! I'm just catching up. Busy day here and right now I'm pacing the kitchen with a sleeping baby in the ktan and a toddler following me with the broom...I need to cook dinner but I need this baby to get a decent final nap before bed. Last night she tried to go to bed at 6 pm because she took no evening nap...uhhh no. Then I woke her up and paid for it by fighting with her to go to sleep around 7, and she was up hungry at 9:45, 1:30, and 5:30 for the day.... also tonight is tubby night for both girls. I'm already exhausted.
So apparently I'm still a little more tired than I'd like to admit. In less than 2 hours since feeding the kids I have thought "damn it they woke the baby" thinking I heard my son whimpering in my room, but at that exact moment he was in my arms nursing. Then just now I went to set him down on the floor as though he was my 17mo, like he could walk away or something. Jesus, days I wish I drank coffee.
I often think twice about whose diaper I just changed so I don't try to set a baby on his/her feet.

I'm giving H this evening to see how he pitches in. We are having overnight company so he better pull it together. I thankfully, mercifully, got a nap today! Yes, it was while wearing the baby, but it was sleep.
I am all done with Monday. I'm just...all done. Dh is being #new, DS was a challenge and also flooded the kitchen accidentally, LO was fussy, aaaaaand to top it off, we had a huge storm that woke DS from his nap (nooooooooooooooo). And 5:30am up for the day is not a good look for me.

Been catching up today. So glad your LO is home and doing well littleredfish! Sorry for everyone having a crap weekend wildflower810loves2shop4shoesflyinghorses6 Any updates on the sunburn linewifekat? Afm, we were supposed to meet for dinner with friends but they had to cancel, so we ended up ordering a cake from Kroger for DD1's birthday and then eating at Chili's. It was nice not to be trying to force a toddler to eat while breastfeeding at the dinner table.
DH is annoyed that LO1 is still up....because she wanted a bedtime snack. Somehow it's my fault for her not getting one. I was downstairs nursing the babes and he was upstairs watching a soccer game. Yepp - lemme just tandem nurse 2 babes and do snacks. Oh and as they are eating he asked if I'd made his freaking lunch! Nope you are a big boy. I prepped a big batch of chicken yesterday and u just have to portion out yours.
All he had to do is go to sleep now. I'm still feeding babes, need to pump and then shower.

sweetieheart32 thanks for asking, I think it's getting better. The doctor said to put vaseline on it. I didn't think you were supposed to put petroleum products on burns so I'm going to stick with the aloe vera and maybe try some waxelene or Cj's butter.
LO has been crying for hours. I've done everything. Bath, boob, bottle, bouncing, booze (kidding... but I need some.) My H comes up and says "what's going on!?!!!!" in a super f-ing asshole tone and takes the baby. Of course he passes out immediately. This is one of those loosening the jar only for someone else to open it situations, right?
Lo had a weight check today and it went okay. He gained a few ounces since I started exclusively pumping on Thursday and our pediatrician wants to stop the Zantac he's been on for a few days. Of course tonight he screamed at the breast and the bottle. I seriously think this must be reflux. Eat baby! And sleep! When you are old these will be your two most favorite things!!!
wildflower810 I can't function if the house is messy, so I get it. I've basically stopped cooking to take a little pressure off. Tonight we had pasta and bagged lettuce. Tomorrow is something from the freezer. If h wants something else, he grills and I make "sides." (Aka more bagged lettuce salad and baked potatoes.) I'm sorry you are feeling stressed.
Sounds like a lot of our h's need a swift kick in the ass.

Work went better than expected. I'm no longer assigned to the projects I hated before ML and switching to hourly may mean larger paychecks.
I had everything pulled together tonight. Breakfast and lunch packed, clothes layed out, diapers rinsed and in the washer, clean clothes put away.
And the damn washer broke in the middle of the last rinse cycle. I have a washer full of water and clean diapers. I guess we're back to disposables until we get a new washer. At least it was the last rinse instead of the first rinse (i.e. full of poo and pee rinsed out of the diapers). I'll probably fish it all out in the morning and hang it outside to dry. Wahoo?
