@wicky, - I love the sign and I think it still makes sense if you leave it as is. Also, you are making me feel incredibly behind. I don't even know where we will be living let along where the baby's room will be, let alone begin organizing it. I'm pretty jealous. Enjoy your lazy day, I'd say it's deserved!
I lurved mine when DD was born. It was nice to just have someone update everyone for me. Plus she lived in Hawaii with me so it was cool she visited me in the hospital. leviosa why you gotta leave me before the babies are born?!
I can't start on the nursery until we move. I need to paint DS2 and DD's room because the room they are getting has an accent wall that is a girly teal. It just won't work with DS2. Then I want to paint a wall in the nursery a lavender color. Once I get that done I can start getting everything squared away for everyone.
It's going to be 72 today!!! I'm at a friend's house sitting on the deck while the kiddos play. It is gorgeous 60 and sunny right now. We have a park play date this afternoon. #finallyniceweather #loveit

Anyone use a doula? With DH maybe not being at birth, I'm debating it.
I'm not for this birth, but I didn't for DS's. I thought she was nice to have, and it makes even more sense to have one if your DH might not be there for the birth, unless you have someone else you're comfortable having with you instead.
So who's taking the reigns on setting up this pairing ordeal for labor buddies? Lol. How do we determine who gets who, probably people with due dates farther apart, right?
I already ate lunch, but I need something more. Second lunch here I come. Also...during the night I ate a granola bar and a cheese stick. Baby must be in a growth spurt....
For labor buddies - due dates don't really matter all that much since we're all going to have babies when they come. Separating by a couple weeks is okay but probably not super necessary.
I know on Jan15 we either paired ourselves off, or our mods paired people off based on interest. We can do the same here, especially since it's a smaller group.

How did you find them? Did you interview a few? Did you is one before? Sorry, so many questions.
I found them on Facebook. It's a doula agency. I met their whole staff before picking my doula team. They also offer birth classes and a mental health group. They have been a lot of help since my PTSD diagnosis

I have been eating second lunch lately too.
I'm seriously considering ordering a pizza tonight when the kids are in bed. DH will be gone and supper won't keep me full....plus I'm thinking leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

My daughter (1.5) and I have a McDonald's date every other Thursday after MH flies out to work. Tonight we got burgers instead of nuggets, and had a picnic in the living room, and then went and cuddled in my bed which is her favourite thing and she just kept putting her head down on my chest and saying "mama, happy!" I don't think my heart can handle having two little girls if this S17 baby is anything like her older sister.
so I guess you all subconsciously motivated me to think about kids' rooms. Does anyone do trundle beds with their kids? I feel like it would be a space saver and I also wouldn't have to worry so much about my 20 month old falling out of bed. I do worry a little bit if she got free reign of the house... her older sister moved to a bed around 2 but would stay in bed until we got her up for a long time afterwards. I can't do a baby gate because then my 4 year old wouldn't be able to go to the bathroom.
Maybe I will just keep DD2 in a crib until she is hopping out of it and LO can sleep in a RnP until he/she is 6 months old???

I would just do whatever you're comfortable with...who knows what baby will like sleeping in. We didn't transition dd's crib into a toddler bed until she climbed out just before she turned 3, the transition has been so hard. I feel like the younger you transition them, the easier it seems.

wells2010, I have been considering a trundle bed. DS2 still needs his crib though. It will be awhile before he is ready to move into something else. He is so tiny, he is the size DD was when she was 9 months old (he is almost 18 months old).
Today is going to be jammed packed for me. I have MOPs this morning, the kids are going skating with a homeschool group from 12-3, than I have planned a day date with DS1. We are going to see a movie that just came out today. He has been talking about it for weeks and I have told him no. Lol, he will be so surprised!
Anyone heard from salmon2017 lately? Vacation this week maybe? I haven't seen her around in awhile.

The husband is paying for our hotel room for 2 nights, supper tonight at the fancy hotel restaurant. I'm so excited. I'm going down with another friend.
