I literally just stopped bleeding while the tech was drawing my blood. Like nothing would come out, not even a drop. She had to "massage" my vein and I almost threw up everywhere. I pray that never happens to anyone else. It was not fun.

She should have just poked you again somewhere else. I hate when people suck.
My friend's baby is having billi issues and I'm trying to toe the line between concerned yet helpful friend and twice experienced alarmist. Eeeets hard and I'm having Vietnam-esque flashbacks to my own kids' jaundice hospital stays.
We just bought some stools for DS to encourage him to become more independent going to the bathroom. As I was helping him put his pants back on, he pointed to the potty and proudly said, "That's what big brothers do." Though not the most direct of associations, it made me die a little because at least he's starting to get it and seems excited.
And on top of all that, I felt my first flutters today which means OMG it's all so much more real and I think I just need a good weep.
is everyone getting an NT scan? My Dr. has not scheduled me for one and it has to be done between 11 and 13 weeks...
I only really do the NT scan to get the early ultrasound because otherwise I wouldn't get one until the anatomy scan. I have never heard of quad screening so I think it may be something we don't do here in my province...
I don't think they do it in Canada at all. Ive never had it done. +1 to only doing the NT for an early ultrasound.

Ooo poop stories! DS never shot poop across the room or anything but he was notorious for pooping through diapers.
One time he was in my lap. He pooped through his diaper, clothes, onto my clothes, and it dripped onto the couch. I yelled to DH "POOP ON THE COUCH POOP ON THE COUCH"
Another time he pooped through the diaper, clothes, and ALL over his car seat about an hour away from our destination with no where to stop. We legit pulled over on the side of the road and just cleaned him/the carseat the best we could with baby wipes. Good times.
Ah baby poops. At least they don't smell as bad as toddler poops.
DS was never one to shoot poop up walls or anything. I don't have a bad poop story at all!! But the runny baby poops are better in some cases as they aren't a wriggly toddler that just wants to touch their private parts while it's covered in poop. That is not fun.
My only good baby poop story was I took DD running and she had a diahrrea blow out somewhere like a mile from home. Poop all over her, the car seat, the BOB, and then consequently me. It was my first and only time dismantling the infant seat so I could clean it and it was a miserable PITA.
Miss Killjoy, so exciting!! I wish I could feel movement, but as a FTM with an anterior placenta, I probably won't be able to identify any movement for a while.
I'm thinking of celebrating being out of the first tri by heading to the gym for the first time since February. I won't be running during this pregnancy, I don't think, but I need to start doing something.
I made homemade biscuits this morning so I'm eating a bacon/egg/cheese breakfast sandwich - omg yum.
We are just chilling this morning then heading to an out-of-town wedding! DS is staying with my parents. I really hope DH doesn't ruin our kid free night at a hotel by wanting to actually stay late at the wedding 😉
Work out for me too, bethkate. My plans for today involve going to my parents' house, sitting on their comfy sofa, and eating all day. It's my nephew's birthday and it's pouring rain so we are stuck inside all day with the two of them (he's 3, my daughter is 2).
Me too please. I havebt worked out once this week and im dying.
