I feel like baby things are starting to get REAL! I had a small family shower this weekend, so I spent all day yesterday organizing Ollie's nursery, arranging his dresser drawers, deciding which outfits to exchange, etc. I have another friend shower this weekend, and then H and I are going to try and finish buying all the necessities by next week.
I ordered my breast pump today, so that was exciting.
I'm starting to realize that it's actually happening, like, soon!

Ugh I'm so sorry linny12!!! Idk what to say other than that stinks
On a random note, this being the random thread and all 😜 anyone had trouble with constipation yet? I am struggling and my OB gave me a list of acceptable things to try but I wanted to see if anyone here had any success with anything before I bought remedies that may or may not actually work
If anybody still needs to order a breast pump (if you'll be using one), check out this website. They made the process SO easy to get through insurance!
amyface813 how are you today? Also, always feel hiccups in my vagina and butt. That's how I knew when baby flipped.
akraus2015 I'm glad things are coming together. I'm more feeling like things are getting real by the way I feel.
surprisemomat24 on and off constipation here. Drinking water with lemon before anything else in the mornings help. I haven't used the smooth move tea yet but I hear it is fantastic.
I have been doing baby laundry, folding baby blankets, opening packaging, and organizing the nursery ALL day and still feel like I have a shit ton of stuff to do. Parts of it are coming together. But golly. This baby has a lot of stuff. I'm also at a total loss of what to put in my hospital bag. So instead I packed my diaper bag. Which I won't need for a while, I know. But it was more fun.

Thank goodness for Chipotle's Teacher Appreciation Day!!! Show your ID badge at any Chipotle and buy one burrito/bowl/tacos/salad get one free!! Dinner for half price + a full belly = a very happy momma 😁😁😁
I haven't done a thing for this child. We don't have a nursery for her, so there's nothing to set up and I was feeling like it is too early to wash clothes, but now I'm feeling like it's not.
I just don't have anywhere to put said clothes once they're washed. I wish H would let me turn the spare room into a nursery. If she's anything like W, I won't be able to sleep well with the baby in our room, plus MOTN stuff is going to suck with trying to not wake H.
I think I'll just make it as loud and bright and annoying as possible so H gives in once she's here.
Dear MissSally, how freaking ADORABLE are you?! Wow, you look great! I think I'm going to have to hate you a little bit now. 🤣😩 Seriously, though, you look wonderful!!
amyface813, that sounds pretty miserable. I'm sorry. ((Hugs))
Nothing much to report here. I'm loving the excitement of team Green, but since we have almost everything already (third baby), I'm also feeling like there's very little to do. We just sit and wait. It feels weird to not have a ton of things to do in preparation for the baby.
Oh, I've got something !! I'm stuck deciding between two newborn photographers. One of this is offering mini-sessions this weekend, and I think we're going to sign up as a mini-maternity / picture of the kids / family shot before the new baby arrives!!! I've never had a formal photo of the bump before and it'll be our most recent family photo (taken by someone who knows what they're doing) since our family photo when DS was a newborn. It'll be 195 for 15 edited images and copyright. You think that sounds reasonable ?
Well I had a whole reply list written up as I caught up on everyone's posts here but it got deleted because my fingers are dumb. So glad to hear all is well. Sorry about the gd diagnoses and irritable uteruses and all that! My sympathies yay for new cars and baby showers! I have nothing for this poor baby girl. We're trying not to spend a bunch of money right now, plus just waiting for our shower next month, but it makes me feel completely unprepared. She doesn't even have a bed yet! I really need to get a move on...

Today wasn't so bad. Thanks for asking! The belly band thing I got from the midwife's office this morning seemed to make the contractions more comfortable and less intense. I think my belly was more locked and loaded IYKWIM. So it wasn't sloshing around as much when I walked.
I'm so with you ladies with nothing done. A is still in the crib in our room. We have to move C into the room with JP. Then convert her bed back to the crib for A. It will still be C's room as far as everything but sleeping. We still have the rocking chair/recliner in C's room that I really want moved into our room. I rarely use it with A because it wasn't in our room. Still have no clue about the clothes situation.
