Eats: I meal planned this week - woo-hoo! I'm making a lime/cilantro/jalapeno dressing tonight to put over my salads for lunch this week. I also bought individual sized hummus portions to take with carrot sticks for afternoon snack this week.
Dinners this week:
Monday: Ground turkey taco salad
Tuesday: Grilled garlic/lemon chicken and steamed green beans
Wednesday: Avocado and grilled chicken salad in a tortilla
Thursday: Sauteed red potato and onion, grilled pork chop, and grilled summer squash
Friday: Shrimp and mushroom risotto
Sweats: Recap of last week:
Monday: 45 min spin class
Tuesday: 60 min body pump class
Wed: 2 mile walk
Thursday: 45 min barre class
Friday: 2 mile walk
This week's goals:
Gym 3x and try and get up early for one morning run, drink more water and stay with the meal plan.
Long term goals:
Lose 5-10 lbs and tone up my tummy
Highs/Lows: High: I hit my week goal last week of exercising: Low: I got out my summer shorts. They really didn't fit the summer of 2014 or 2015 (May 2014 DD) but I was really hoping my size 4 shorts would fit. They didn't. I was bummed, but I also realized they were incredibly short. I'm a 32 year old mom now. I'm not in my 20s and I need to find some shorts that are age appropriate. I don't like Bermuda shorts. I like short(ish) shorts. I've been eyeing a few pair at Loft and may head down to try some of theirs on this week.
QOTW: What do you like to do for exercise and why? I prefer group exercise class or running alone with my music on blast.
