billybumbler I hope your pain continues to improve!
R slept pretty good last night, once I got him down. I took an hour and a half to get him down after his last feeding. I was trying to put him down drowsy but awake, and as soon as I would put him down he would be wide awake and just flailing around. I got my exercise in two days in a row, so I'm feeling good!
I'm a little annoyed today because I had arranged for my mom to come down and help this weekend because DH has a work event and will be gone most of the waking hours this weekend. I talked to her today to check on when she'd be down, and now she apparently is having my niece overnight Saturday. So she may not come at all or if she does I'll feel guilty because it won't be for very long and I'll feel bad that she made the trip for just a few hours. I really need her saturay morning because C has soccer and the weather is supposed to be really crappy and I don't want to take R.
She helps us to much, so I fed bad being cranky about it. But I asked her about this weekend weeks ago!! My damn brother ruins everything.
Ok I'm going to end my #firstworldproblem #spoiled whining now.

R needs to figure out how to suck her hand/thumb or something. She has knocked the paci out of her mouth 1 million times today. I keep thinking she's hungry, but when I go to feed her she's not interested. She just wants to suck her hands and she cannot figure it out.
loves2shop4shoes I wipe his neck so many times throughout the day. I have facecloths everywhere (he spits up often) he also gets fluff under there too.

Neck folds are an issue here too. The pedi said if it looks red and irritated it's probably a yeast infection and I should use Lotrimin on it. I was thinking it's just curdled spit up.
Wait. They hired a tax attorney to handle an employment law issue? What fuckery is that? That does not seem smart on their part.
I know. Just when I think they cannot stoop any lower in terms of stupidity, then always outdo themselves.
I work for a tax attorney... And it's not stupid necessarily. Lawsuits and HR related issues can have major tax implications, too. Especially payroll and employment law related. I'm assuming the tax attorney is part of the legal team working with the HR department to figure out how to treat a settlement.
FWIW I'm a tax accountant and my job is waaaaay more legal than it is math. I've been on the other side of cases like yours and will say that a tax attorney can offer some good advice regarding employment issues. Again, more law than math.

A yeast rash would be red, bumpy, and very painful for your LO. If it's not all of those things, it's just irritated and can be wiped off. Sometimes I use aquaphor if things are starting to get a little red.
Also, oldbaylover1024, fascinating... certainly doesn't seem like this guy is a litigator, but the settlement they keep pushing is paltry.
He probably isn't a litigator. He's probably been hired to calculate a settlement and go as low as possible. I'm sure there's a valuation analyst involved, too. Basically, he's the first step in the calculation/negotiations/cost-benefit offerings. He's a third party, right?
Keep going. They don't wanna go to court anymore than you do.

With DD1 we missed the neck cheese until it was super gross and we felt awful. After that DH and I made a point to make cleaning and drying her neck a 2 person job, one to hold back the chins and 1 to clean. She was a Michelin baby though with super rolls. With DD2 and DS, Earth Mama Angel Baby is my go to cream. Keeps things lubed so there's no chafing and the essential oils in it keep yeast at bay. I check it an apply as necessary at every diaper change. No cheese so far.

R has neck cheese, I'm glad to know that he isn't the only baby with that, I felt so bad when I discovered it the first time!
My newest question involves drool. R went from not drooling at all to drooling constantly for 4 days now and always has a first or finger in his mouth. Could he already be teething even though it's really early?

We get armpit cheese if we miss wiping a fold during bath time. Yuck! crazycatlady6 DD1 started drooling around 3 months and we had to keep a bib strapped on her for months. She soaked through a few every day. She started teething at 6 months, so not sure if it was related.

It's a developmental thing if I remember correctly. They start producing more saliva and just don't know how/aren't able to keep it in their mouths/swallow it.

My TMI of the day is also a question. Why do I smell just hours after showering? Seriously, I'm reliving my teen years. Fuck, hormones. There is not enough deodorant.

Guys work is bad. I legit walked onto a unit that was chaos. Nothing like jumping right in. I'm pumping now (2 hours later than I planned), haven't eaten or had a sip of coffee. But I also have no texts from DH, so I hope that's a good sign.
crazycatlady6 same here. If it isn't spit up its drool. I sewed a bunch of bibdanas and literally bring a bunch every time we go anywhere During tummy time his blanket gets soaked. He loves munching his hands too.
littleredfish I feel a bit like this as well. I sweat so easily recently. :/
flyinghorses6 sorry that work is going badly hopefully no texts is a good thing
Been MIA, my phone crapped out and then I finally had my PP appt and got N's vaccines done, so today was a busy day. And now I'm up because this little guy seems to wake up at 4-420 regardless of what time he goes to bed or eats at.
