It's amazing how big they're getting sophiegrace! I love trying to cuddle with C but that boy is already so busy and constantly trying to squirm off mommy's lap. I can already tell we're going to be chasing him all over the place once he's mobile.
Already had 1 failed (read 30 min) nap today. Going to attempt again soon. I really hate short naps because I feel like I am trapped inside all day just waiting for tired cues so I can try again for a crib nap.
I also hate short sleep bouts at night.
I hate sleep these days.
Sorry, we were saying what was good today... umm, my tea was steeped for the perfect amount of time today. That's what I'm gonna go with.
So I am on my laptop today, I am 98% mobile so it looks so weird on the computer!
I'm also trying to go through my posts and delete identifying stuff that I always said I would go back and poof. Apparently I'm paranoid today.
I keep meaning to do this. The good thing about using google photos is that I can see all my shared photos in one page and can just delete the share link so it'll poof. Maybe that's what I'll do today.
What's good?! The apple I just ate in peace and washed down with coffee while the babies are napping.
I've been getting lucky with having them both on a "long midday nap" (about 1.5 hours). We wake up 5:30-6a in this house (bed is also like 6:30p) so by 10:30a they're pretty tired. They've been fighting their morning nap (the one they used to take within 2 hours of waking) which is fine by me bc it was only ever 20-30 mins anyway and would hit around me and/or me and H leaving for work.
AV is still pretty snotty, I feel bad but she has no other symptoms so I'm debating if it's allergies - can babies have allergies ?
I need to get on my Cinco de Mayo/babies turn 6 months plans. Anyone want to come cook for me that night?

This sounds exponentially easier than what I'm doing!!

OMG I just watched Jimmy Kimmel's monologue from yesterday and I'm tearing up so much. He is sharing his story about his son who was born with a heart defect just over a week ago. It's a happy ending but he breaks down crying a lot and it's hard not to do the same. He also has a very important message at the end about health insurance. The whole thing was emotional and powerful.

Was just coming here to mention that! I just saw it on FB. I was crying a few minutes in and a disaster by the end of it. I'm so thankful that we live in a day and age where the ability exists to fix such serious issues.

O had his post op appointment today. All looks good. He does still have water in his right ball but he's had that since birth so they aren't concerned (hydro-something). Also he's not taking good naps at daycare. So when he comes home he immediately passes out. I miss spending time with him. They just changed his room so I'm hoping he will adjust soon.
You know what sucks? When you spend all afternoon writing a motion on behalf of the "defendants" but then realize you only represent one of them so you have to go back and change all of them to say "defendant" AND fix the fucking verb agreement.
