There was lots of crying last night from L but his rash seems to be fading now. Thank goodness, listening to him at night is heart wrenching. He stays laying down and asleep but is crying. I feel so helpless, I don't have the energy to hold him all night.
I took them out for a stroller ride and DD1 on her strider bike because we got a break in the rain this morning. He's now sleeping in the stroller while the girls play with sticks in the dirt on our front yard. Who needs fancy toys?
Bummer leahks77 I hate when I have a ton of stuff I want to get done and then kids derail it. Hope everyone is healthy very soon and you get some time to do what you want to do!
I'm at work. No daycare today due to a funeral she is attending. MIL is out of town so I was going to have to stay home but H volunteered to instead. Which is good because I have a meeting today I didn't want to have to reschedule. DD is getting one on one time with daddy since DS is at preschool. I'll go pick him up soon and drop him off at home.

chocolate I don't know what they have. It doesn't seem to meet the description of any of the common viral causes online. Here's a pic of DD2's hand from this morning:

Hey everybody! L was up whining sporadically from 5am until I finally got her up at 6:30, so I'm not feeling as rested as I'd like. I'm trying to catch up at work from my days off last week. The trip was fun and no one in our group got hurt on the roads, though one car did have a minor fire issue, so I'm calling it a win. I hate coming back to the real world after time off.

eyelashedviper hmm I don't know, I believe Fifths is the slap cheek one where their face can get really red. And then there's one that has a lace looking rash, I can never keep them straight.
Hey ladies. H was at preschool this morning and the kids watched tv while I cleaned and vacuumed. I noticed that the suction wasn't great so I ended up taking it all apart and I got a huge clog out of the hose. Worked much better after that. It's currently lunch time and then nap time for the girls. I gave S her first whole milk today mixed with some BM. Didn't seem to slow her down at all so I think it'll be an easy switch.

I like how you disassemble your appliances and fix them. You're so handy. I stay far away from any handy work.

Thanks. I hate when things don't work right, so I mess with them until they do. If I left it to DH it would be broken for months.

That looks like a rash that I have on my hand and arms and inside of one knee. It's really itchy and I need to call my doctor about it.

We are the same person, haha. I like to know how things work anyways. It's interesting. I took my vacuum apart the other day too. It's like a whole new vacuum now!

Fifths is the slap cheek rash but can also present as a red spotty rash on other parts of the body (although I think usually on the torso).

I'm clearly hanging out with the wrong friends.
If you like drinking in parking lots, worrying about the safety of your husband and friends, and being driven through mountain roads at anxiety inducing speeds, we're your people. Lol.

There was a huge gas leak downtown this afternoon close to where DH works. I have no idea how long it will take him to get home tonight.
H and L are having an epic nap this afternoon and I'm letting them. I don't care if they're up later. I'd like to give them an oatmeal bath before bed and DH will likely be late as well.
DH grouted the bathroom floor tile tonight and it looks so good. I can't wait to see the bathroom all done. Tomorrow midmorning the carpet people are coming to measure and see how much we need. We still need to drive up to the cities to ikea to get the cabinets and then install them, order the doors and trim, get them installed, have the electrician and plumber back and then we should be done. So close yet so far away.
