Great to hear from you / have you back, spins!!
Your new place sounds just like where my cousin lives. It's be so funny if it was the same complex! Though we probably wouldn't even know. And really there are tons of similar condo buildings in that area. I'm guessing it is the same city, though, and she has been really happy with the public schools there so far ( kids are 13 and maybe 9 or 10 I think). I hope you will be too!
And while it isn't downtown Boston, there is still stuff within walking distance, right? Like parks. And food and stores. Including a TJ's that sells wine. Which is always a good thing.

yes everything is walking distance. Playground is one block away, elementary school is 0.5mile, lots of shopping & dining less than 0.5mi. I was joking to DH that there are probably more restaurants we'll be going to there than in our current neighborhood. There are already 2 that we've been going to for years, and I'm seeing a few more that look promising.
I didn't know Trader Joe's sells wine, thats gonna be my new local grocery store, awesome! Do you know what elementary school your cousins go to? Maybe I'll end up meeting them!

I don't know which school - we aren't really close and I am a terrible correspondent. But she is much better and sends a note with with her Christmas card most years.
Unless it has changed, only 3 TJs in MA sell wine - Framingham, Cambridge, and Brookline. We used to always stop at the Brookline one on the way home from visits to my dad before the Portsmouth and Portland ones opened.
